ha - fair enough.

not sure how that is different to the 'old rule' that was supposedly abolished / amended two years ago.....the GAA...!!!

Happy enough with the team. At least with Keith Cribbin on the bench he's a decent option in the backs...they're scarce enough. Need Paddy and Paul Cribbin to play to their potential. Both too inconsistent.

Great win for Naas CBS!

Shambolic today.
Been a long time since I've been as despondent at a Kildare match.

Yeah. First time I've seen them give up which is hugely disappointing. Beginning to wonder if O'Neill is getting the best out of the players he has. Certainly not utilising Dan Flynn. Donnellan seemed like he couldnt care less where his free/45 ended up. Looked like a chore to even go up the field, although he saved us getting a right drubbing.
Bench made up almost entirely of forwards and yet we're still relying on a mid fielder and goalie to take frees!

Well guys I just popped in to see how's the form and of course it can't be good, both our team are in a bad vein of form right now and if we didn't have the bit of luck earlier on in the league against Donegal then this game could have been dead rubber , anyway I just want to wish all ye traveling fans a safe journey down here to Kerry at the weekend.

Haha st.conleth Down here we have no clue what to expect tomorrow evening and that's being honest, I'm worried enough about the game with ye after our last 3 performances and from what iv seen of yer team ye seem to like to run the ball which we struggle with teams that run at us .

We like to run the ball but sometimes it's up blind alleys. It's not something we have perfected as of yet. Big task for us to go down to your place and get a win and even if we did it's too late to save ourselves now anyway. I think our losing run will continue, Kerry away when Kerry need to get something too is always tough. If we were a bit cuter and luckier we could have 6 pts by now but realistically we were always favourites for relegation. Personally I think we hit div 1 a year before we thought we would and are under developed for this level. But even though things have turned out the way they have hopefully the year in div 1 will bare fruit down the line.

Ya ye appear to be in limbo at the moment, ye'r too good for div 2 and not quite good enough or maybe not cute enough for div 1 just yet and I'm not having a dig at ye.

Iv no doubt looking at the few highlights of yer team yer quite young and I'd say ye'l burn up div 2 next year.

Would the Moorefield players have made any difference to ye in this years league do you think?

Dont give up yet. Beat Kerry and Galway and its still possiblr to stay up, pending results. Not confident though either.

Not sure if the Moorefield lads would have made a huge difference. Eanna would certainly have taken pressure off Feely on the frees. Think James Murray will make a big difference in defence if he continues his firm from club. Thought he might actually start this evening.

Looking at the kerry game. We are not far off this level but still lacking the critical decision making in the final plays of a phase.

Agree Daytonna but we haven't got another option for Doyle. Think its worth trying James Murray for next one.

Definitely agree. Like to see Murray get a run next day. We know what Doyle can do but we are a bit light in defensive back up in most positions. Worth a try at least. Maybe Luke Flynn at full back too.

Hard luck lads , I don't know what to say and what ever I'd say would probably sound condescending anyway , Daniel Flynn was brilliant tonight and roasted young foley.

Anyway try not to be too down hearted , like I said earlier ye'l burn up div2 next year and ye'l be back in div1 before ye know it with a more experienced team.

Shouldn't give us any praise though. Upsets one of our neighbours. Hence the thumbs down for you :)
