Good luck to Pomeroy the form team of the championship so far. I go for a Pomeroy v Omagh final.

Carmen - a team of mature men.

I got to say that Carmen lost to Errigal based on a lack of pace. Alot of miles on the clock - penrose, Mark Donnelly, Conor gormley expected to still carry the can. Where is all the young blood in carrickmore. Surely the underage successes of recent years at metre level and so on should be showing now in the senior side. Mark Kavanagh ran them amuck and carmen to me lack serious pace.

So that's Omagh into the final.
Thought draw probably would have been the fair result. Trillick ahead most of the game however Omagh missed a bagful of goal chances.
First half nothing to write home about but second was very entertaining. Omaghs goal was vital when they 6 down.
Not sure why Trillick management took off no 15. Thought he won a lot of ball and was dangerous.
Co Grugan was excellent for Omagh as was Big Joe.

Why are the inter and junior finals in Carrickmore and not Healy park?

Maybe they're still trying to pay off the Nally stand.

Last year they had intermediate and Senior on the same day and even got a bonus of a Fri night replay nearly filling Healy Park twice. No matter what teams are in the senior final is it will take massive crowds along with other neutrals. Changing the Intermediate and Junior you are more likely to draw smaller crowds but still should be enough to fill out Carrickmore.

I actually don't mind the change in venues. This years use of the Athletic Grounds has been kind to me due to my location but this is a bizzare one alright. May as well play it in Dungannon or Edendork which would suit the 2 teams in terms of location but obviously it is a county attraction and I for one am not a massive fan of the condition of Dungannon's pitch.

Dungannon's pitch is terrible. Carrickmore's pitch and facilities are good. just found it a bit strange the change of venue considering the junior and inter are always held in the county ground.

Oh right. If you were from Moy,Derrylaughan,Tatts, Clogher would you care then? Or any other Junior or intermediate club? Should they just not bother playing?

So your club has never been in div 2 or 3? Ever?
You support Tyrone, well supposedly, have Tyrone had Div 2 and 3 players on the team over the years? Previous all Ireland winning captains?
You have a very very strange view in my opinion

My club has not played intermediate or junior football.

I think most people would agree that nobody outside the club's involved care about these finals therefore they do not need a big stadium like omagh. Carrickmore will be fine as very few neutrals will be attending anyway.

I fail to see your point about the county game. That argument makes little to no sense.

There are plenty of people who care about div 2 and 3 teams. They are just as important and deserve their day in the limelight.
Div 2&3 teams provide for the county team, which you support, abet from your armchair or when they get to Croke Park, so we should have an interest.
As I said I just thought the players deserve to play in the county ground.

I still don't understand your point about the county team. It has nothing to do with the initial issue which you raised.

You asked why are the div 2&3 finals played in carrickmore and not omagh. My opinion was that not enough people cared about them to warrant a game in Omagh.

I think you are so bad at debating issues that you always try to re-hash old arguments so that you can say you came out on top.

Sad really.

Wally at this stage I actually feel sorry for you and that's the truth. I kind of pity you and that's why a feel bad when we debate on here.
There was a big crowd at the finals tonite. A lot of neutrals. They cared enough to go. So too say no one apart from the clubs involved tonday cares is ridiculous. I'm sure most would agree.

Well I have to say that is the most embarrassing and pathetic counter argument that I have ever ever heard.

I think you should probably just leave it there as you are running the risk of really making a fool out of yourself.

I think I've already pointed out many times on here that you embarrass yourself with your lying and flip flopping. But we will have it here.
Anyway to the more informed posters on here, what's your thoughts on the final next week?

I think Wally just caught himself a fridge lol

Wasn't fond of the finals in Carrickmore y'day. The pitch was in poor condition but as for capacity it did the job comfortably as have the crowd left after the first game and Moy and D'Laughan coming in late and Clougher and Tatts going home. All in all a successful day.

HaHa I think its a love/hate thing but we move forward.
I agree, the capacity was fine yesterday for Carrickmore. However I was with older gentlemen yesterday and they would of liked a seat which is only available in the Nally stand at the far corner which isn't an ideal viewing postion. Parking wasn't great either.

Thoughts about next week?
