Something which I find somewhat bemusing is the amount of times non-medical people encroach onto the playing area during a game. This seems particularly commonplace in hurling. Now I understand you have your fear uisces (or mna uisce) and lads who dash on with replacement hurls but what is the ruling around team selectors running onto the pitch?
Do GAA rules permit this? Is this regulated or is it one of those uniquely GAA things? Dan Shanahan for one seems to spend more time on the field when Waterford are involved than his brother Maurice does
