Dunedin Connollys won all Britain last year and ended up getting beat in the all Ireland semi final, so would guess they would be the team to beat.

It looks like Dunedin have a handy enough run to the final then.
I'd imagine the teams from London, Lancashire and Warwickshire will be battling it out to emerge from the other side of the draw

Oisins made easy work of Lancashire this year and I'd expect them to go on and win the All-Britain as well. The only doubt about their strength is that it was the weakest Lancashire championship in a long while.

St Colmcilles are the dark horses this year! Brought in loads of players this year and walked the Herts county c'ship for the 2nd year running and they have managed to get a bye which helps.

What's people's opinion's on this weekend's all Britain games ?
McCurtain's V Yorkshire champs , not sure who won Sunday's final up there
McDermotts V Oision's
Both games being played in Birmingham
Who are the likely winners.
Think other game is Scotland V Hertfordshire

They only beat a very average Eire Og side with an extra man for 50 minutes by 5/6 points. They will lose the first game they play in the All-Britain so id change dark horses to no horses!

Hugh O'Neills emerged victors in Yorkshire.

Thomas McCurtains should win this.

Going to be tough in the Oisins/McDermotts game. McDermotts have been banging on All-Britain door, but always seem to come up against a strong John Mitchels side from Liverpool. They are not there this year, so maybe this mental block is not there anymore. Oisins have a decent side, so it'll be interesting to see who emerges.

I'd go for McCurtains (easy win), Oisins (by 2 or 3 points) and Dunedin (easy win)

What time are the games on in Birmingham this week? interested in going to watch the games.

Don't know too much about the standard outside of London and Lancashire to an extent, but expect Thomas McCurtains to struggle slightly seeing as they're a junior team coming up against senior level opposition? Don't think any team at this stage are going to roll over so expect to see two very tight contests.

Heard very good things about McDermotts, so I'm guessing a Hugh O'Neill's and McDermotts win both by a point or two? expect Connolly's to win it out given the fact they got to the A.I semi final last year especially looking at their route to a final.

Sam4thewest,
McDermotts V Oision's is a 1.30 throw in
McCurtains V O'Niells is 3.30 throw in
Extra time to be played in these game if required

Hugh Oneills are senior only in name, if they were in London I very much doubt they would be up to Senior standard so McCurtains have every chance.

A little bit off with your prediction's , McDermotts a handy enough win in the end by 6 points.
A great second half performance from them, 5 down at halftime, then turned it around.
McCurtains won by 8 I think, scrappy enough game really , Hugh O'Niells had goal chances but could just not take them , otherwise may have been a different result.
Scotland won handy enough
Any thoughts on semifinals ?
McDermotts V McCurtains
Connolly's V St.Colmiclles

As you noted, Hugh O'Neills are only 'senior' in name. Hugh O'Neills are nowhere near winning the All-Britain Junior championship. How have they fared in recent years when they have progressed past their own county championship?

Most clubs would be 'senior' in their own jurisdictions as their B teams and smaller/weaker clubs would play in that county's 'junior' championship.

I was only commenting on your theory Tommy Mcs would struggle against Hugh Oneills as they were a "junior" club, which they clearly didn't seeing as they won the game!

Surprised to see Macs beat Oisins on Sunday, Lancashire representatives usually do well but as mentioned earlier it was the weakest Lancashire championship in many years. Football up here seems to be really struggling, with some clubs really struggling to field. Is it the same in other parts of the UK I wonder?
