We should just follow Smithers example on this saying "They were saying boourns, boourns" OverBlackSpot (Roscommon) - Posts: 47 - 03/08/2017 10:32:09 2028290 Link 0 |

Donie smith was booed when he kicked the last free to send us into a reply!. Everyone shouting about Moran , Moran always had it tough from a Ross contingent and kissing breasts only added for more to follow!. I think the real problem here is we marked him out the gates with very little input into the game bar a single point !!. Or maybe get trying to plaster over yer performance etc when in truth it wasn't yer performance that was the issue but our defence stuck to he and made ye look ordinary john1971 (Roscommon) - Posts: 185 - 03/08/2017 12:37:40 2028359 Link 1 |

no real apology just said they don't condone it, which I agree with but this whole thing was blown way out of proportion. bit sad that this is the main thing coming out of a good game

Most people who boo are clueless about the game and the ethos of the gaa. Ah_Here (Mayo) - Posts: 42 - 03/08/2017 14:05:46 2028423 Link 0 |
You hit the nail on the head there john, all this whinging and moaning about one player, youd think Andy Moran was the second coming of Christ with this seemingly cult following that he has now. Why dont we all have a moan and whinge about the sniper rifle-style attack on Diarmuid Murtagh, itd be more fitting to see it in a Hell-in-a-Cell WWE match, not an All-Ireland Quarter Final. And dont get me started on Lee Keegans kung-fu approach to take Donie Smith out of commission last Sunday also. But sure nah lets talk about a players feelings getting hurt instead OverBlackSpot (Roscommon) - Posts: 47 - 03/08/2017 14:10:46 2028426 Link 0 |
The Mayo media machine in overdrive all week crying about it.

How many days did the film Groundhog Day cover?? Same posters filling the forum up with this whinging. I'll be back Monday when the match is over and we can all move on with our lives whatever the result is. Boys go back to the42 and talk this muck there. there has'nt been a peep out of mayo all week about this, martin carney is the only one i've heard mentioning it. the mayo posters on here have only tried to explain the backround to it but as usual people choose to believe what they want to believe.

Good article by Liam Hayes calling the Roscommon apology the "sorriest statement I have ever witnessed from a football team in quite some time' poguemahone (Dublin) - Posts: 365 - 05/08/2017 12:37:45 2029244 Link 0 |
