Jamie Clarke

The good players can produce at county level, however the really good ones can also produce at club level. It is much easier to play well with better players than with lesser ones. Clarke can produce at both county and club.

We were unfortunate to be on the receiving end of a great performance by Jamie Clarke at the weekend, albeit we did give him the room to perform. I always recognised his skill and finishing before, but what really surprised me was his speed and his fitness levels, maybe the Armagh supporters can tell me, has that always been the case or is he in particularly good shape this year ?

At the business end Clarke the difference between the two teams. Don't think we scored from 62m thus didn't deserve it.
Still miffed at Eoghan Doyle's self-selection against Dublin. Unsure if Bolton even on the bench but surely an old head needed in final 20.
We don't have a free-taker something of a surprise. Needs rectifying come NFL1.
Croke Park failures go back to Div 3 play-off final against Clare, tragically witnessed. Look forward to the day we step up to that plate.
Still, it's been a good year, learning curve for all concerned. Bring on 2018!

Agree lads, Jamie Clarke is worth the entrance fee alone. Unfortunately Armagh's style of GAA football in general don't really suit his exciting attacking style.
But hopefully he won't be snuffed out of it against Tyrone and we enjoy his swagger.

A good player can swagger against average teams - a great player can swagger against the top teams - let's see on Saturday evening.

I don't think Kildare gave up lots of room at all. They had good numbers back. I think Clarke was just very good. You forced back outside the 45 a number of times, Armagh played the ball through nicely.

It's good preparation for them now going into a game against Tyrone.

Defensively Tyrone actually are vulnerable, Derry got in on goal a few times. Tyrone are just so good counter attacking but Armagh won't leave themselves wide open.

Jamie Clarke was brilliant last Saturday. So were many other Armagh players. Kildare are a good team also. I am looking forward to Saturday but I can't see Jamie getting as much change on Saturday. Hampsey will be sent in to look after that end of affairs.
We will have a lot of Jamie clarkes to deal with at the 6pm throw in. We will have to be very alert to keep in touch.

Are you really pretending not to be a Tyrone supporter?
