Replying To JoeSoap:  "Donegal County Board have taken the classic response that under pressure politicians resort to when they're questioned on something they can't answer - the awful keyboard warriors are "abusing" me. Well excuse me if after what I saw in Ballybofey against Longford really concerns me about the direction of Donegal football going forward. Is that abuse? Is it abuse if I say I think Maxi running on and off the pitch every 2 seconds is ridiculous and embarrassing? Is it abuse if I say Rory needs to be clearer in his instructions and stop with the ridiculous substitutions? Is it abuse if I question how much we regressed in Championship after an encouraging League?

Seems you can't say anything unless you'll be told you're abusing someone, and in all honesty with all the talk of a Snowflake Generation and Safe Spaces, seems to me the biggest Snowflakes are those in positions of power, be that government or a GAA county board."
I agree with you, a lot of people go to a lot of trouble just to get outraged - kinda deflects the real issue.

That is exactly what it is classic deflection reaction to cover what really needs to be asked and discussed. I also find it amazing that little or no coverage has been given nationally. I mean Donegal were only in an All Ireland final in 2014. But I guess it is easy to say ah sure they are in transition and look at all the players that have left the squad etc. Both are factors of course but this rot is not a recent phenomenon all from mismanagement on many different levels. From the board to the management teams handling of various players and their turgid tactical nous or lack of. I am sure everybody watched Armagh this evening get to a 2nd All Ireland quarter final having not reached an ulster final. This while operating from division 2 or 3 while in the last 3 years Donegal supporters are used to the excuse that Ulster took too much out of Donegal as to the reason of not been able to regroup and give it a shot. This includes the pitiful thrashing Mayo gave Donegal in 2015, the waving of the white flag against Dublin last year despite having player numerical advantage to the car crash that was Donegal's championship campaign in 2017.
