Well Greatpoint, maybe you should research the meaning of the word "often". It does not mean the majority of the time, it does not mean "more often than not". It means regularly or on occasions. If you check Michael Murphy's stats for the last couple of years you will find that he has "often" failed to score, he has also "often" scored 1pt and less "often" he has scored more that 1pt. This is not surprising as he is most "often" to be found in his team's own half of the field, not likely to score from there very "often".

You've just used the word often to describe three separate degrees of frequency. How in God's name do you expect to engage in a reasonable discussion?

Not to worry, no doubt Murphy's a fine footballer, just difficult to discuss his merits as regards one of the top 6 forwards, when he hasn't played in a forward role for such a long time. I'd really like to see him revert to an orthodox full-forward before his best days are over.

Murphy is an excellent footballer but I don't think he has the movement or speed to be a top forward anymore. He was put on the edge of the square against Tyrone 2 years ago and Justy McMahon marked him out of the game completely, since then he has been used almost entirely in the middle of the field. Having said that he could well run riot against a very weak Galway fullback line tomorrow.

10. Diarmuid Connolly
11. Dan Flynn
12. Ciaran Kilkenny
13. Paddy McBrearty
14. Mick Quinlivan
15. James O'Donoghue

Leaving Michael Murphy out was hard but he doesn't play in forwards enough for me to consider him a great forward anymore. Paddy is donegals go to man now. Cillian o Connor rightly not considered in a lot of the teams... sure Andy Moran is still mayos best shooter.

I'm a huge fan of Comer but he's nowhere near the top 6 in the country.

I'd have your own Colm O'Neill right up there but he's not being allowed to shine in this current cork side.

Can't pick Daniel Flynn after him knocking Cluxton over last weekend.

Good forwards can shoot.

He was centre forward against Tyrone 2 years ago.

Mcmahon should've been yellow carded about 15 times that day. He eventually got yellow carded about an hour into the game.

So annoyed with COC for stepping up today and dragging us through that game. Of course I'm aware it doesn't count as it's not the All Ireland final but fair play to him anyway.

It's 6 Ros1, he was a minor 7 years ago, but I'm just being pedantic. Maybe he's just a late bloomer for some people... a bit like the Dubs BB?!
