He was 3 years there not 4 years. He kept them in d2 last year the went down this when results on the last day went against them. Yes I think getting them to a all ireland q final and getting them up to d2 and keeping them up last year is better then winning a preseason competition.

you dont mind a simplistic argument when it suits your own, so spare us the lecture, the players know a lot more than any of us do, so leave the bias aside and acknowledge that, i think fermanagh posters are a lot more likely to understand whats been going on also

i feel they did benefit, got closer than they had under the previous management, leave the bias out and acknowledge that, we blew them away in the semi under the previous management when it came to winning time, the same didnt happen under the current management, now they havent gotten the ultimate benefit but it did result in an improvement and gave them a better chance to win

Fair enough my mistake. My point was he did well with the available talent to him. It is a pity it ended badly for all concerned. But just because it did doesn't mean the good he brought to Fermanagh football should be forgot.

I am not surprised that you would think that considering the way they scored two goals for you first day out and then proceeded to leave out one of the best keeps for the replay!
