Roscommon were excellent today and really played with intensity and simply outfought Galway. Great to see them doing so well after all the negative press this past year. Galway are better than this and just had one of those days.

Well done to the Rossies, the better team tactically, physically, skill fully & mentally, their hunger was greater. Kevin Walsh has put his heart & soul into this team with hard work but you can't mask over the problems that exist within the county as most do, they eventually surface on days like this as v Tipp last year. Lots of talent but some within the county lose the run of themselves with provincial titles win at all levels, there are a lot of underlying problems been glossed over, these need to be dealt with to move to the next level but they won't be.

Well done to Mc Stay and Roscommon, there'll be some craic down thee tonight, I thought Galway were better than that, hype and maybe an off day and poor conditions were factors, they just never got going today,
I thought the ref was very fussy, never seen so many frees given for off the ball stuff, trouble is the next day the game will be reffed totally different,
any well done the Rossies, go and win in Croker now.
