Yeah think its time to put the whole fiasco to bed. Westmeath county board should come out and apologise and let that be the end of it.

Westmeath County Board and Armagh manager should apologise and best of luck to Westmeath for the future.

99% of supporters from all counties are well behaved & the fact that there is no segregation of supporters backs this up. You will always get an odd eejit from every county. I can say I've have been at loads of games involving Donegal and Armagh and never witnessed anything out of the ordinary. The Armagh fans are very well behaved.

I would have encountered Westmeath and Armagh supporters down through the years and I had no problems with them. But as previous poster stated every county has their fair share of bad eggs.

I remember watching westmeath fans burning an opposing clubs flag at breffni stadium a few years ago . The incident hgappened when armagh took the lead, a member of the westmeath squad turned around and sprayed water into the area of Armagh fans were the players family were sitting including pensioners and children. A number of Armagh fans were also abused by a person selling the half time draw who kept telling people 'we don't accept yer british money down here in Ireland'."
Good man Tom, I think you covered all 'angles' there. You and Westmeath Co. Board seem to be of a similar nature.
