Extreme case of double standards from Dublin County Board here.

They have no complaints being 'forced' to play every football match at home every year.
(don't give me "we played Carlow outside Dublin")

But the point the Dublin County Board make is valid.
Teams shouldn't have home advantage at virtually every stage of a competition.

Reckon we'd have at least 37 AI titles by now.."
Oh my God. Dublin have 6 All Irelands in hurling. Not a single native of Dublin City or County lined out in any of those 'winning' teams.

Touche, touché. It's a pity ye can't bring that hatred to matches against Kilkenny and Cork too. Next time ye are playing Kilkenny or Cork, just pretend it's Tipp and ye won't have to worry about match ups, tactics or anything like that. The hatred will more than compensate.

Could've played that in the Bogies in Cabra and it wouldn't have made much of a difference.

Thurles is the home of the gaa and the best playing surface in the country so it should be regarded as above Croke Park. There isn't a team in the country that doesn't love playing in the stadium. It's an honour

Wouldn't have mattered a jot were we played as you say the bogies or even the Garda pitch in Phoenix Park complete with two ton of deer sh!te. The argument is truly academic now Dublin footballers are the County Boards Golden Balls and they will rub rub rub......................

The GAA effectively didn't exist amongst native Dubs until the 1950s.

It was played almost exclusively by country people living in Dublin.
