Good call there JJ. Waterford at 7/5 looks tempting against Kilkenny. Inaroundehouse (Cavan) - Posts: 975 - 03/07/2017 09:53:28 2009396 Link 0 |
Great value next weekend on some matches. Tipp away still 11/4 on Boylsesports. Ross at 5/2 looks tempting. Wexford 9/2 at home with the Banty factor. Leitrim 2/1 and Westmeath 9/4 are decent too. Hardtimes (Cavan) - Posts: 1056 - 03/07/2017 10:42:30 2009456 Link 0 |
Yes I think Waterford have a brilliant chance in this also. Also think our Clare friends could give another good account against Mayo at home whether they beat them is another matter but I'll be interested to see the handicap

Tipp look like great value alright. Not sure about the others. As for the "Banty Factor" - that would be more of a negative than a positive at this stage. Pookie_Monster (Galway) - Posts: 32 - 03/07/2017 11:16:24 2009479 Link 0 |
Monaghan are coming off a disappointing loss. If he can get Wexford fired up for this one, get in their faces early and get the home crowd going it could be a struggle.

As much slagging as I've given the Meath lads on here lately I think they are the bet of the weekend at 2/1 at home to Donegal. It's their All-Ireland for the year JJ1 (Kildare) - Posts: 547 - 03/07/2017 11:49:51 2009503 Link 0 |
Ross at 5/2 is very decent odds the more I think about it. Played Division 1 for a couple of years now and although they had a disappointing league campaign it was not as bad as people make out. They were reasonably competitive in most of the games. Galway are an improving team and have some fine footballers but they are not exactly the finished article and are well capable of a no show. While the Ross have failed to live up to previous hype and can be flakey under pressure there is absolutely no talk of them this year in the Connaught reckoning. This will suit them very well. They have some very fine footballers who are at a stage in their careers where they need to deliver on massive potential and may feel they have been written off. It's set up for them in a way. Knock out football ensures things are played out to the end. My £10 acc goes with Tipp +2, Leit +3, Wex +6, and Clare +5. Byanthon (Tyrone) - Posts: 1780 - 07/07/2017 07:35:51 2011789 Link 0 |
Monaghan will be pure and utter ruthless against wexford. That's what cost them v down so they will be focused on scores. Lads this wexford team are v.poor and i think Monaghan will win by 10+, regardless of Banty. Frederick (Louth) - Posts: 479 - 07/07/2017 08:28:33 2011819 Link 0 |
They weren't too ruthless last year against Longford...

They were after being bet in a completely different game prior to the Longford game. And Longford are better than wexford also. Frederick (Louth) - Posts: 479 - 07/07/2017 13:18:12 2011958 Link 0 |
Leitrim +3looks a nice bet. There won't be much between them and Carlow. There never is. Inaroundehouse (Cavan) - Posts: 975 - 07/07/2017 14:40:49 2012000 Link 0 |
Meath 2 to 1 looks decent odds for a home game. joeblogs10 (Dublin) - Posts: 104 - 08/07/2017 08:09:27 2012258 Link 0 |
None of those teams apart from Leitrim will get within a whisker of the favourites

Not to worry sure I picked cavan. ''Twas a great win for ye and I really like to honest down to earth approach of yourmanager. Cork look v.confortable here. Frederick (Louth) - Posts: 479 - 09/07/2017 16:57:36 2013128 Link 0 |
I'm biased but Tipp football is a breath of fresh air at the min. They never ever give up and have serious belief they can beat anyone. That was a huge result for Tipp and keeps us going in the right direction. hoping for a kind home draw in the next few mins!
