Should be a good game, Roscommon on the back of two years in Div 1 have nothing to fear, Galway ate an emerging team and maybe on form are favourites but have Roscommon been timing their run for ch'ship, Both teams have some quality players, Roscommon have promised a lot and not delivered, this game will tell if they are a team with a future or was reaching Div 1 their pinacle

Roscommon have nothing to loose and must be chomping at the bit with all this talk writing them off. Galway could be at the receiving end of a mighty backlash if they're not at the top of their game.

Hard game to call and I can see only a few points between them in the end.

Hopefully Galway will pull it off.

Disrespect being shown by RTE to the Connaught final, they are chatting since the prog started about the Munster hurling final, if the Leinster football final was on it would be getting full coverage.

Have you an opinion on the Connacht Final rather than having a go at RTE?

I expected us to be here today but we were rightly beat by Galway. I feared the Rossies in the long grass, ready to peak today, as Galway should. If Galway aren't on the top of their game and Rossies are the Rossies will be champs. Either way it should be a great attacking game. May the best team win.

Galway are shockingly bad so far. Roscommon would be out of sight by now if they took their chances.

Galway seriously need Gary Sice brought on. Also R. Lavelle is costing us big time, he'll let us down today or down the line in, but he'll cost us surely.

Poor enough stuff.
I know it's raining but some of the shooting has been woeful.
Galway won't be frightening anyone in the qualifiers in they down.

A poor game, Rossies should be out of sight. In fairness the weather is not helping. But my God that goal was beautiful! The movement, the ball in and the finish was sublime. Interesting half coming up.

Galway in trouble.. Dire football, Rossies want it more, need a quick responce.. Breeze all over the shop here making it very difficult. The ref has it in for us since the start.. But our game plan all over the shop

can you imagine what Kerry will do to this galway team
if we meet them later in year
it might be better to go out early
because it will be a hiding again at croker

This puts where Mayo are at in perspective when you see the poor standard of Galway play, Connaught must have the lowest standard of football at present, then again if you take the Dubs out of Leinster the rest of them are poor enough too,
Roscommon should have this game won by now, it's like watching a div 4 game.
