Jun B : Rathnew
Jun C : Tinahely

Would not give Dunlavin much of a chance after poor group stage. But some teams do get better as the semi finals go on.

Two brilliant games on show yesterday, everybody thought AGB would beat Avondale but Avondale were better on every position on the pitch, the scoreline doesn't show that but Avondale definitely deserved the win. Eire Og shocked Balto by playing some absolutely beautiful football and looked like they were going to win the game, unfortunately for them Billy Norman got sent off and that made things hard on them but they kept up their performances and every player worked twice as hard, I knew Balto would push on in the 2nd half and the game, in some way deserved to be a draw.

Would loved to have been at the games yesterday but went to U21 Final. Seems like I missed an entertaining day.

Big result for Blesso yesterday, hungier team, wanted it more! is this the monkey off their back in beating one of the big teams in knockout stages in Aughrim? Interesting draw for the semi final, they must see this as their best chance to get to county final since 88!

Brilliant exhibition of football throughout all of the Senior Championship games this weekend. Avondale beating AGB will be a huge boost for the Avondale men and are possibly the dark horses for the championship. Baltinglass started poorly but some what deserved a draw. Avondale play Blessington in the Semi-Finals, and Rathnew play the winners of Eire Og or Baltinglass. Its an open championship and is there for anyone to take. Its great to see the senior championship so competitive this year, which will benefit the players themselves and make John Evans' job harder when selecting a panel of players to represent the County

Strange team Blessington. Years of failure does not suggest they will finally get over the line but there is something about a team that struggles and yet are still in the championship.

Lets face it they were poor in group stage.

Maybe this will be their year but I doubt it.

Relegation is a group of 5. Each team plays one another with the top 2 qualifying for the Keating cup final. 3rd place team survives for another year and the bottom 2 are relegated

County Board making Eire Og play their first ever Senior Hurling Semi Final on Saturday and then their QF Football match less than 24 hours later ??? Absolutely disgraceful way to treat players and a club doing their best to be a strong dual club. How can either team prepare properly for their respective games this week?

Eire og have so many players on county teams and then to be treated like this. Player welfare hah. Time someone stood up to that shower

Did Newtown and Bray toss for home advantage in Keating Cup? See it was moved from Greystones on Tuesday?

Can see good wins for Blesso in the senior and Dunlavin in the intermediate this weekend. Is it the year both clubs can get the monkey off their back and triumph in their respective grades?

Not as much hype and expectation about Blessington this year which has suited them, they coasted in under the radar and pulled off a big shock in my opinion the last day by beating St Pats. They will surely put Avondale away on Sunday to reach the final, if they don't do it this year will they ever do it?

Eire Og did well the last day but left the game behind them. I don't expect Balto to give them a second chance and think they will win this one by 2-3 points.

Dunlavin Rathnew is an interesting one. On paper Dunlavin have the better team but it will probably go down to the wire. I fancy Rathnew if it's close towards the end.

In the Junior A I don't think there will be anything between Laragh and Valleymount in the semi final either. Valleymount came out on top in a very close game between them in the group stage but I think Laragh have built up a lot of momentum since then and I fancy them to nick it.
