Senior: Rathnew
Intermediate: Hollywood
Junior A: Laragh
Junior B: AGB.

Rathnew seem to have got their act together this year and will have Snell and O'Brien back for the business end more than likely. Balto and Pats the obvious dangers and I think AGB will give a good account of themselves to be fair.
Hollywood have been Senior for years and will drop down with great experience plus Hannons back playing I believe. Dunlavin, Donard and Kilmac wont be far off.
Laragh have started to motor in Div 2 league and Declan Byrne seems to be stepping up the good work done over the last few years. Barndarrig, Kilcoole and Knockananna will be in with a shout.
AGB should have some very good young players on the Junior B team from previous minor squads. Bray seem to be going well in Div 4 league and Enniskerry are strong at that level.
Dont rush to the bookies guys coz I was way off last year!!

Hard to see anyone beating Laragh they have started to hit form at the right time, Enniskerry/AGB final

They were relegated from Intermediate league and championship last year and withdrew their team from the Junior A competitions at the start of this year. They only have 2 teams now so should have way too much for anyone else at Junior C grade.

Don't know how they have managed to get back Junior C though, they just won the competition a few years ago. Apparently a motion was passed at a county board meeting earlier this year to allow them back into the Junior C championship.

They wer well bet 2day by a 14 man kilcoole side! I think kilcoole laid down a real marker 2day kicked 20 point's 15 from play with 14 me for 45 mins!

Was at the Bray game today and I really don't see anyone beating them, they seem to get better each year, today they played without the Henderson's, Cunningham's,Christy Moorehouse, Aaron Murphy and Peter O'Rielly yet still managed to get 3:13.
I was also impressed with Pats today, they were much fitter then before and won almost every break.
I've yet to see Glenealy but from today I'd predict a Bray and Pats county final with Bray to win

Interesting set of results from Jun A and Intermediate this weekend. Laragh on a good run in Div 2 and comfortably beaten and outplayed by Kilcoole in Jun A. I was impressed with Kilcoole, some great scores kicked in the second half when under pressure but Laragh really looked headless with an extra man. Valleymount had an easy win over Barndarrig in that group too, they look to be very strong this year. Ballinacor cant buy a win in Div 2 recently and comfortably beat Dunlavin (Anyone at this game?). Ballymanus beat Kilmac who have had a good year so far in Div 1A. High scoring game, both teams wide open. Can see that group being very interesting, 4 teams who really fancy themselves to win the championship. Fancy Donard and Hollywood to come out of the other group and probably Carnew with them. All grades are hard to call but Inter always seems to be the hardest!

Was in Roundwood on Sat eve for Barndarrig vs Valleymount. Barndarrig tried to out-muscle a well conditioned Valleymount team in the second half and suffered some pretty serious looking injuries. I hope all concerned are ok but I'd say this will hamper Barndarrigs chances going forward in this competition.

Blesso did pull their Junior A team as they did not have enough players as a number of players retired at the end of last year and a few moved up to the senior squad. the only players that can play Junior C are the players who were regraded or are already eligble to play. the whole squad was not regarded from Junior A to Junior C.

Heard word from the county board that Blessington wont be playing Junior C this year and will be playing Junior B instead.
My Predictions:
Senior:Baltinglass
Intermediate: Kilmac
Junior A: Kilcoole
Junior B: Enniskerry, don't fancy Bray or Rathnew heard Bray have played few Seniors in the league games against Junior C teams at best in Divison 4 and Rathnews league form has been bad considering they won the North East Divison 4 last year.
Junior C: Kilcoole or Fergal Ogs. Again slim pickings in Junior C watched both teams this year and they are the strongest from that lot, however Kilcoole have had few Junior A lads playing in league games for them. Both teams have beaten each other in league games.

Senior:
Bray to beat Tinahely
Rathnew to beat Coolkenno - Rathnew have turned themselves around
Newtown beat Avondale - Avondale seem to be missing a lot of players and their league form is shocking
Baltinglass v Pats a draw for me - cant really separate them myself this year
Eire Og to beat Annacurra
Blessington to beat Kiltegan

Intermediate:
Hollywood beat Donard/Glen
Carnew to beat Ashford
Kilmac to beat Rathnew
Hard to call Dunlavin v Ballymanus - if Dunlavin were really missing so many vs Ballinacor then if these lads are back it will make a massive difference. Going to go Dunlavin, forwards should cause trouble to the Billies defenders and they really have to win this game after a tame performance last week.
