How can mayo and Donegal be kept apart, the draw is live and is on tv. there will be four balls in the draw one for each county as the saying goes its the luck of the draw, the way Donegal are playing i would say were the team everybody wants to meet.

Replying To Fionn:  "Ah now... Sligo had a chance cleared off the line at the end of the game which would have knocked Meath out.

Meath at home against Sligo and they barely scrape past them... No wonder Kildare hammered them in last round.

I have been over estimating how good Meath are but so far in the championship they are miles off winning anything...
McEntee has some job his hands there, to even get them near competitive."
At least get your fact rights.

Afraid not. Sligo were three points down and after missing a goal chance Kelly put it over the bar. Do the maths

A win is a win, lot of negative, however also positive,Meath generally dont win and struggle against blanket defense, however yesterday we handle it better, which is a positive, wasit a game for the neutral? Hell no. Terrible, but I got to say I did get a sadistic pleasure from seeing how to break down defensive system (oh no I turning to the dark side)
Michael Newman coming back is a huge plus, micky Burke was outstanding again, biggie had a good enough all round game without shooting the lights out, menton again very good.
We in draw, everyone will want to get us, and they won't fear us, but then neither will we fear them. My one wish? We have home advantage, then it will be a case of welcome to hell. Enjoy our intimidating atmosphere, our wooden seats in our asbestos covered shead (sorry stand) our closed grass banks, and the almighty roar we will give our team.
Hon the Royal

Allowed myself (like an idiot)get talked into attending that excuse of a game of football in Navan yesterday, my eyes still hurt. It was cat, pure muck. Kildare Wexford last year was a classic in comparison. Still annoyed with myself for going! Meath where headless chickens again, no improvement whatsoever from Kildare game, may well have gone backwards.. What is going on in that county? Sligo must be kicking themselves that they couldnt convert more.. Thats 3 times ive watched meath live this year, and worse their getting..

It was dreadful stuff that first half has to be one of the worst that was ever played in navan, mcentee now trying out the blanket defence that our players are just not suited to, best of luck in Leinster final cuttothebone and do yourself a favour and don't make the mistake of attending another Meath match this year

Trust me if we as bad as you say god help.Kildare in Leinster final. Btw dont bother going to Meath matches that dont involve Kildare, wont do you any good at all. :)

Croke Park v Dublin is hell. Killarney v Kerry is hell. Navan while playing Meath..........not so much!! And you don't worry about us, if we get the 16 points beating you so badly want for us it'll be an even poorer reflection on Meath given how easily we disposed of you. Twice!

True for ya, as each minute passed watching the game yesterday my confidence gained from Kildare's result over meath took a serious hit, I believe now all we did was beat a traditionally strong team at their lowest ebb ever maybe, certainly as long as I'm watching, I just hope we can keep the Leinster final competitive for as long as possible..

Whether or not we're at our lowest ever ebb I don't know, it's debatable but in fairness for whatever reason we just haven't clicked so far in the champsionship. We finshed the league very strongly and looked all set to be a handful for most teams but that just hasn't materialized.

I do think Kildare are a good team who should be able to put Dublin under pressure, although I don't think it will be Kildare's year this year, I think the hammering the Lilies gave us seriously dented confidence in our squad because we were expecting so much more. After that I was happy to just get the win over Sligo, piss poor and all that it was, it was still a win, we're in the hat for the next day and fingers crossed we can find a bit form that has seemingly completely deserted us at this stage!

I could put up with all the rest but I'm keeping well away from that asbestos. Are there any potential hazards behind the goal? Mind you if our shooting doesn't improve it might be safer in the stand!

True the game was bad but believe me it was no worse than Kildare Westmeath last year.

You must be a glutton for punishment, it's a hard watch for Meath supporters never mind the neutrals. The only way is up (hopefully).
