The hurling Championship has been excellent so far and Cork v Waterford on Sunday is also shaping up to be a great game (assuming Cork's performance against Tipp wasn't just a flash in the pan).

As regards the football, last weekend it seemed to finally catch a bit of fire. From the bits I saw of the two televised games on Sunday they looked like good tough contests.

Was at Kerry/Clare and enjoyed it, some lovely scores, good excitement and to witness Maher's pass into JOD for he's point late in the first half was worth the admission price alone.

I'm looking forward to this weekend too, Kildare and Meath seem set to be a high scoring battle between too pretty even sides.
Tyrone v Donegal is always an intriguing encounter.

In fact all the provincial finals are shaping up to be good contests this year. I would assume Roscommon will get over Leitrim and I think they can give Galway a game.
I would also hope that either Kildare or Meath can give the Dubs a bit of a rattle too.
I'm tipping Donegal to beat Tyrone and Monaghan to beat Down and I think those two are the best teams up North and will produce a good Ulster final.
Finally, Kerry/Cork always takes on a life of its own and no matter how poor Cork look at the minute, they will throw everything at us in Killarney in 3 weeks.

So yeah it's shaping up to be a good few weeks of GAA action ahead!

Replying To Donegal_abroad:  "Looks like Tyrone only have to turn up on Sunday then so?"
Honestly I'd favour Donegal at this point.
