Cork, in one word....

Replying To KYTotalFootball:  "I wont be fooled, I expect them to beat a strong Tipp and then we will built up into something we are not

I remember in 2006 Waterford were a missed penalty away from being level in Killarney with about 15 minutes to go before we just pulled away.

Similarily in 2014 Kerry were absolute no-hopers going into PUC after barely beating Clare vice versa 12 months later when Cork should have won against all odds in Killarney

Won't get fooled again...................."
That's not one word

On the most recent evidence in charge of the 21's he has been average at best. He was tactically very poor against Galway. Liam Kearns should be given the chance rather than looking to the past."
By that reasoning could say the same about Jim Gavin.

Dangerous, if they get over Tipp and are playing in front of a big home crowd for a Munster final in the new PUC.

Dangerous?

You're having a laugh.

This is as poor as Cork Senior football has been in a long time.

They will be ravenous in their attempts for a scalp , it will be a massive occasion if they manage to get past Tipp

I'd never underestimate Cork or write the off. In a one off game they are always a threat, particularly in Munster. Add in the prize of potentially beating Kerry and winning a Munster title in the first game in the new PUC.

No if Cork and Kerry do meet in July in PUC, I'll be wary. I've seen Cork teams scrape into Munster finals too many times only to ambush us.

Not a chance of it. They might ambush Tipp but they won't come near Kerry. They're at such a low ebb at the moment that it'd be such a massive shock if they even game Kerry a game of it.

I'd say most in Cork would be happy to give Tipp a game but lose rather than have to face Kerry in a newly opened Park and getting humiliated.

I hope your right!

But no one was giving them much of a chance in 2015 either and they should have beaten us (and looked set to beat us pretty well at one point) in the drawn final and no one would have argued had they managed it.

It's interesting Cork are still favourites to beat Tipp.

I suppose it is still a Division Two team versus a team that played in Division 3.

I think it'll be a close game and it wouldn't surprise me overly if Cork were to beat Tipp although I'd personally make Tipp favourites.

Neither will beat Kerry in the Munster Final. Tipp could cause them problems but Cork will get hammered.
