Replying To Gaillimh_Abu:  "Congrats Wexford. Lee Chin was magnificent!"
Wasn't he just. Some hurler.

All the signs pointing to continued slow decline with KK. Still no one will want to meet them or write them off. Richie Hogan seemed injured.

Cody greatest manger of all time , but I have huge admiration for Davy Fitz he is up there with the top managers. He produces the goods wherever he goes, Clare/Waterford in Munster and now bringing life back into the Leinster championship. Well done Wexford keep it going

Great result for Wexford and excellent to see them back as a serious threat in hurling. Lee Chin put in an outstanding performance - obviously a great athlete and hurler but also the one who made the big play anytime it looked like Kilkenny were getting on top. It is shaping up to be a very open championship, the likes of which we haven't seen since the 90's.

Delighted to be completely wrong with my prediction. Wexford were great today and probably should have won by more.

Davy has them in great shape.

Felt sorry for Aylward. Nothing went his way. It's tough coming back from a serious injury. It might be 2018 before he is back to full tilt.

Well done Wexford. Like Cork three weeks ago, you've brought a breath of fresh air to this year's hurling All-Ireland. With both Tipperary and Kilkenny having to go through the qualifying rounds to reach the Quarter-Finals (an that's no way a certainty), and my tip (at the start) for this year's AI Waterford, making their debut v Cork next week. We could be in for a vintage year of hurling.

Comhgháirdeachas le laochra Loch Garman, some game some result, davy has definitely brought something there though I think kk will still be there or there abouts at the end of august. going to be an interesting summer. Thank god for hurling cos so far the football has been dire . Again well done for the perseverance against the odds and doom mongers.

That was some game Colin Fennelly did well best KK forward but look they will be back.
What can you say bout Wexford but like Cork they shut out the danger men and scored at vital times. They kept the scoreboard ticking over.
We're in for a treat this year New champions in each province and what a chance for 2 teams to get to an all Ireland final.

I don't know what some people were watching that was an awful game of hurling. Really scrappy, no shape to the game, very few good scores, loads of rucks. Kilkenny were very poor and yet Wexford allowed them to stay in the game, could easily have been a draw with Kilkenny missing two goal chances near the end. Hopefully Tipperary and Kilkenny will be drawn against each other.

To be fair; the wind played a big part in lowering the overall standard of the game.

Replying To Killarney.87:  "Hard luck Wexford when Kilkenny are in a mean mood like there is no stopping them. Ye can still make a big impact on the Championship through the back door. Oops that's tomorrow's post match thoughts.

I can't see Wexford win this one cos KK are seriously wound up for this one. The main thing is Wexford perform for the 70 minutes. As long as that happens there is no reason why Wexford won't regroup and make it to the business end of the Championship in August.

If anyone else bar Cody was KK manager I would be more optimistic about Wexford's chances. He seems to have the Munster rugby philosophy (Axel Foley) of ten years ago, being nobody beats us twice in a row. I don't think Kilkenny lost two championship matches in a row against the same opposition. Galway in 2012 came closest.

PS I am really looking forward to this and I hope I am wrong about the result."
You were wrong be happy!!

Yeah it did make a difference all right, but it still wasn't a great game.

Wexford were far the better team Kilkenny relied way too much on TJ Ried

But win for wexford
You had to fancy them coming into the game though. Kilkenny haven't fired this year and tonight were a shadow of the team of the last decade or so.
wexford were better team from start to finish being honest so the scenes afterwards to me we're way over the top.
You would swear they won the all Ireland.
nothing won yet for them there only into the Leinster final now which will be another step up for them.
also wexford has Twitter was a bit dissapointing tonight with its tweet regarding Kilkenny in the cat flap door.
all in all should be a good final to look forward to if they haven't played their all ireland final tonight by the celebrating

Yeah they were. But what's that got to do with me saying it wasn't a great game?!
