Replying To theinsiderlimer:  "Heard that Doon won their appeal last night. So its Doon/Caherline East Final. East board were 100% wrong so I'm told and was only a delaying tactic for the East final"
Delaying tactic for what exactly?

If East final went ahead as planned I'm told Caherline would have been without 4 key players

Easy win for Kilmallock in South final. Have to be one of the favourites! When is East final fixed?

What rubbish are you talking ? have you seen the video? clearly shows substitution has been made and that the player was on the sideline when he received his second yellow.

How was he sent off for an "altercation after he was taken off" could you explain to me? He was sent off on the field of play which the umpire saw but was taken off before the ref spoke to the umpire

if you have seen the video then you know all the answers! But IMO and that of the county board he was already substituted. Is it correct to say that Ballybricken didn't even appeal in the first place and that on the night of the hearing they, hence, had no status when the county board overruled them?

East board are very much in the wrong here. Seems that they wanted the junior east final played after county senior quarter final in the hope that doon would lose more junior players to senior.the whole thing was a farce. County board immediately struck out their case.

Just in the last few days I saw the video and it looked like there was an incident involving a doon player already on a yellow card and they coincidentally were very quick to substitute him. The docket for the sub wasn't in the refs hand until after the second yellow was given so in that instance alone the sub isn't made if I'm right

I'd say you would serve your time best trying to promote hurling in your club instead of cribbing about a loss and digging deep to try and find any kind of technicality that would keep Ballybricken in the competition. Pathetic

Cribbing with good reason, anyone who has seen the video will know what I'm talking about. Doon will go nowhere in this competition as soon as there's a decent referee in the county stages those tactics won't be of any help to them

correct to say quick to sub him after he received his first yellow.... it had absolutely nothing to do with a 2nd yellow ( how could it since he only received it after been substituted). IF, as you say, the substitution was made after the sending off then this reflects poorly on the ref and why would Doon do something as foolish as to try replace a player sent off 9 mins into injury time when they were cruising to victory comfortably?

well I watched the video and there was exactly 5 minutes of play after the red card with doon 5 points ahead when ye should have been a man down I wouldn't exactly say "cruising to victory"

Doon were 6 points up when the incident happened, 3 minutes 30 seconds left to play if you watch video correctly and no score for remainder of match.
Doon were much the better team and the sub slip can clearly be seen given to ref before the sending off so if you want to get technical, the sub was made. The sub slip that is being referred to was Doon's 5th and final sub with that player clearly seen leaving the field of play. It's all pathetic, Doon won fair & square, time to move on.

What video were you watching?? If you want to be technical about everything I said is correct, but anyway it's over and doon have got away with it. And the only thing that's pathetic about this ordeal is blaming caherline saying it was a delaying tactic
