Limerick Junior Hurling Championship 2017

saw both Kilteely and Caherline at the weekend. Noticeable difference in confidence between teams at moment. Caherline looked very nervous and anxious , just like a team trying to find a bit of form. Kilteely looked very slick oozzing confidence. all counts for nothing now. could well be a caherline win. Ballybricken the team to beat though. Improving with every game

Few big games coming up in the junior a in the coming weeks, fancy monagea to beat feenagh and to pip killeedy again this year in the west semi if the draw works out that way. East semi finals coming up kilteely and ballybricken look like they will make the final but I'd imagine caherline will give kilteely a run for their money. In the city pats and the well look to be a pick above the rest would be very surprised if either were beaten in the city semi's. In the south I fancy c/ballyagran to shade it in the semi against stakers but can't see either team coming close to kilmallock who look like a very strong outfit this year

I'd say Caherline v Ballybricken East final, Caherline not having played well at all yet!

Would be very surprised if caherline beat kilteely they seem to be very demoralised and were well beaten by doon during the week, but in saying that I was wrong with my monagea prediction great win for feenagh

Caherline had a very under strength team, at least 5 starters missing and were terrible in the first half but I thought they were the better team in the second, giving away way too many frees though and that is the big problem they have.

Some win for caherline after most including myself had them written off. Very disappointing for kilteely to not get out of the east again this year, looked like a team that underestimated caherline who showed a lot more graft in the terrible conditions

A lot of semi finals on this weekend in the junior. St.pats should easily overcome na piarsaigh, think stakers will shade it over ballyagran. Ballybricken should beat doon and I'd fancy tournafulla and killeedy to win their semi finals

st pats v. na piarsaigh wont be as easy as people think, pats wont have hegarty and are seemingly missing a few more key players. this game might end up closer if na piarsaigh manage to perform. the city junior championship has been very very poor this year and that wont help the 2 teams that do go out the county. i would fancy caherline or one of the west teams to win the county this year.

Another final in the east to be contested between Caherline and Doon this year, both teams have met in the league and Brian butler cup finals.. winning one final each, this should be a good one!

Was at killedy vs Feenagh Kilmeedy last evening. Fine standard of hurling coming from the west. Kileedy did the majority of the hurling in the second half, unlucky not to tie it up at the end . F/K should have a big say on where the county title goes later in the championship

Big shock in the west last weekend. The two favorites in the semi finals were beat any reports from these games? St Patricks would be my outright favorite now, even though Caherline just wont go away even with all the rumors coming from there camp? All the final parings are nearly decided, anyone pick a winner from the teams left or know the betting?

Kilmallock
An Other
Feenagh kilmeedy
Rathkeale
Doon
Caherline
Patrickswell
St.Patricks

St Patricks hardly the strongest team left. They scraped through Na Piarsaighs 3rd string team

Saints had to start without a few regulars. I believe that they will get stronger as the competition progress's.

sidelineview08- I think they will win it, Hegarty his a huge player at this level. I wouldn't rule many teams out of it though as all teams will feel they can win it from here.
