Caherline and St.Pats have some of the best hurlers in this grade their top 3/4 players are a pick above the rest but both had a few weak links in their team last year which might go against them again this year. I saw a few divisional league games this year doon look strong in east and stakers look strong in south. Lot of teams in west have potential to win it outright, probably tournafulla or killeedy have strongest panels at the moment, very open competition this year with na piarsaigh gone who had been one of the standout teams for a number years

Doon always strong at the start of the year, but usually end up losing their best players to the seniors before the Junior championship starts

Any predictions for this weekends opening games? Are all divisions starting this weekend also?

Going to start with the East as I know that is this weekend.

Doon to beat Ahane by 7
Ballyb to beat Kilteely by 2
Caherline to beat Murroe/Bohar by 9

Doon and caherline will hockey Murroe and ahane, probably 2 strongest against the 2 weakest in the division. Doon will be hard to beat unless they lose a few more to senior. Kilteely and ballybricken should be a close game heard both teams have a lot of injuries at the moment think Ballybricken might shade it

Doon and kilteely beat Ahane and Ballyb while Caherline received a walkover from Murroe/Bohar.

I saw Kilteely they looked very impressive. I would expect them to meet Caherline in the East Final. The winners of that will go along way to winning a county.

East Limerick matches pushed from Saturday to Sunday morning because of the hurling in Thurles. Would this happen anywhere else?

If it suits the players (which I presume were consulted) then I don't see what the problem is

Killeedy probably 3rd best in West this year after Monagea and Feenagh Kilmeedy

Are you forgetting Tour? They would be my favourites for the West, proabably meeting Feenagh in a final.
in the East you'd think Caherline and probably Kilmallock the best the south has to offer.
Pats should win the City
