I was present in Salthill-Knocknacarra today with my husband and kids and I simply must say it was a fabulous day of sport. It was a beautiful day apart from 5 mins at the end which changed the game. the willies came from behind to almost snatch a win. great day out, claregalway to win Connacht out as they hav a great team.

2 of the 3 Moran brothers were playing for claregalway and were great today. Gary Kelly kicked about 10 points for Williamstown. Kelly should be close to the sennor panel next year!!

Fair play to claregalway beating a tough, battling Williamstown team Saturday, and then winning the Connacht semi final Sunday. Sean Moran and Williamstown's Garry Kelly should near the senior panel next year, as well as the tall Claregalway midfielder.

Claregalway good value for their win although a few dodgy moments in the 2nd period.

A lot of good work done before h/t giving them a 10 point lead at the break.

Williamstown huffed and puffed and while they reduced the lead to a couple of points - CG were too strong.

There is only one Moran outfield player on the Claregalway panel, Sean Moran. The two Moran's on the panel aren't related.

I'm 100% sure. Sean Moran starting center forward, Rob Moran sub goalkeeper. They aren't related.

With the championship now over who do you think will make the intermediate dream team.
Surley Shane Walsh is a shoe in from the semi finals and mabey 1/2 from aran, there is usually a strong representation of the teams that made the final aswell...

Some odd decisions here with this team imo.

Nice piece on Galway Bay Fm tonight from the Claregalway and Glaveys camps ahead of this weekends Connacht Final. Good to see the excitement really build in Claregalway.

Think they have the players to do it on Sunday - all they're missing is a big 6 foot plus full forward target man who they can luanch high ball into if Plan A isn't going well but hopefully Plan A does go well for them this Sunday and they bring the cup home to their spiritual home in Knockdoemore.
