Glen vs Williamstown Agree think this could be a cracker in terms of entertainment - will not be for the fainthearted - they hate each other. Glen disappointed in last round but if they get young lads on pitch then they will be in with a shout. Wont be more than a point or two Glen to nick it.

Kil/Clon should take Menlough but feel K/C defence not great and over reliant on Walsh upfront ( even though they have good forwards ). if he has an off day then theyre in trouble. K/C by two

K/c very impressive today, makes Dunmore's win against them look more remarkable- have k/c improved a lot since then? Or was that just a bad day for them?

Was at the Dunmore v Brendans game yesterday and Brendans were shocking. Dunmore have near all there players back and yes they did beat K.C earlier in the year and looked impressive. They lost to Aran Islands last month with more than half there team gone by only 5 points and I expect them to easily beat them this time around. I have no doubt they would beat K.C again and that means to me they are my favourites to win it out. Real dark horses.

K/c were very impressive yesterday. Shane Walsh had an off day and still scored 1-4! Missed a few frees he would normally kick over.

K/c full back line delt very well with the menlough attack and with Daly sweeping the looked a very solid unit.k/c changed their goalkeeper and he mad a few decent saves also.

Murphy in the full forward scored 3 goals and was a real handful. Rabbitte was very effective until he went off in.

Watched the Dunmore game before hand.very hard to know where Dunmore are at as ballygar were very poor.

What are the draws for next round

Claregalway v An Spideal
Oranmore/Maree v Williamstown
Headford v Kilkerrin/Clonberne
Oileann Arainn v Dunmore McHales

Sounds like k/c have made some changes and improved - they wouldn't have won a match with shane Walsh only scoring 1-4 earlier in the year!

Some tasty enough games to come yet.
Kilkerrin looked good against Menlough. I thought Menlough may have done better seen as they are playing Division 1 league. Goals killed them. Enda Daly still playing and was very good. Kilkerrin have some good forwards and will take beating.
Dunmore hammered Brendans without Damien Redington or Declan Rattigan. Jesus Brendans were shocking bad hard to see how they are staying up. I had seen them earlier in the year and last year and they looked not a bad team but seemed lost against Dunmore.
WIlliamstown good win against Glan. They are a fit hardy team full of energy and will give anyone a game.
My predictions below and updated odds!!

CLAREGALWAY v An Spideal - Claregalway 10/11
ORANMORE/MAREE v Williamstown - Oranmore/Maree 2/1
Headford v KILKERRIN/CLONBERNE - Kilkerrin/Clonberne 1/3
Oileann Arainn v DUNMORE MCHALES - Dunmore McHales 2/1

Good round of action coming up this weekend. I would imagine more than one team would have had a few rogues testing the limitations of their drinking bans over the All Ireland weekend so it'll be interesting to see how that might affect the games. Could be a possible opportunity for one of the minnows to pull off an upset.

I think it's between K/C or Claregalway. Not surprised with today's result, fair play to Aran Islands

Willies town v islanders
Claregalway v k/c

Was at the games in team today.annaghdown left it behind them(I think the beast was inj)
Mountbellew look like genuine contenders.

Back to the inter game..

Again k/c got through another game without relying on Shane Walsh. He still caused problems even though he was kept scoreless from play.

Has to be hard on k/c today ad they were without their driving force enda Daly due to the untimely passing of his father (rip)they did it the hard way today saw it out.

Headford had a game plan and saw it out and just fell short due to some serious defending and a cool head in goal.

I don't think claregalway will fear k/c and expect them to just get over the line and I would think the islanders will be just too strong physicaly for the willies.

Two great semis in store. Anybody know the vinew or date?

K/C look to have finally got their act together after losing their opening game to Dunmore and appear to be peaking at the correct time. The games are coming thick and fast and as every manager out there says "These games are betther than forty sessions lads". The lay off for CG may prove to be a hindrance but i suppose time will tell. I feel K/Cs advantage of playing league action at a higher level may be the very small thing to get them over the line in what will be a game of fine margins. If Shaney runs at the porous CG defence it may be over before the fat lady even warms up her voice never mind sings - We will have to wait and see.

What a game we have here between Aran v Baille Liam. 2 teams that nobody would have said will be in a semi final last May but the reality is 1 of these teams will make a county final ! 2 physically big teams but in my opinion Aran will be too big and powerful for Williamstown who are very reliant on Gary Kelly who has had his injury concerns over the last few years. Like the other Semi - It will be a tight encounter, I can see both teams being nervous and a cagey opening half. Aran..... just about.
