Replying To NathinButSteel:  "Judging by Carnmore's recent demise I don't think they've been taking too many players from Claregalway's plate.

Look I think any club with 3 clubhouses and 7 pitches are in prime position to maximise the population they have at their disposal. Would expect Oranmore to do similar when they get their new training complex built."
I think you need to be accurate with your research. The Lakeview clubhouse facility is owned by a community development association. Knockdoemore clubhouse is the Club's in conjunction with a voluntary association funded primarily by the Club itself (with some support like the sports capital scheme) given that Lakeview could not be extended. Additional space was a huge need given the increase in female players joining the Club. Not aware of a 3rd clubhouse. Surely you are not thinking of Loughgeorge. Claregalway have the same conditions attached for access to that facility the same as any other club. Anyway Claregalway's biggest challenge now is to improve performance in the adult/senior grade particularly.

Was in Tuam - Referee was right to throw ball up - Shane Walsh took almost 2 and a half minutes to take the 45.....

Time to get a new watch smokeygaa if you counted 150 seconds for the 45!! It was a ridiculous decision with two claregalway lads within 5 yards of Walsh. Some strange decisions all during the game...he seemed to forget about the black card until last 10mins. Draw probably fair in the end and replay should be a good game again

Strangest decision I ever seen... Blew on walsh for time wasting, who threw the ball over the bar..then went and threw the ball in only to blow the final whistle as the ball came down... If the free kick was the last act then why pull him up on it... Walsh took a little longer than usual but so did Dean Rock with the All Ireland on the line. Two CG lads loitering around the freekick should mean it should be brought in 10 yards..... Shane Walsh is some player, No one could touch him. Spare a thought also for Enda Daly who returned from his recent loss and gave a mammoth display

Was at the game in tuam today and I've seen a lot if things in my time watching and playing football down through the years but today's refereeing was at another level.

A few things stuck out, k/c midfielder Gannon, dragged down claregalways midfielder at the start of the 2nd half. Definitely a black card.k/c goalkeeper had his kicking tee taken by one of the claregalway forwards and delayed his kickout which resulted in a hop ball.and the thing at the end with Shane Walsh was an absolute joke altogether.

He took the same amount of time on that 45 as every other free/45 taken all day and no problem.the ref bottled it.there was numerous frees given for the ball picked off the ground that were never a free.he didn't let the game flow at all.

Back to the game..both teams will feel like they were unlucky not to win but I feel this was claregalways chance and it's gone now.k/c were all at sea the first half and we're lucky only to be down a few at half time all be it from a soft enough penalty that Danny dispatched beautifully to the net.

Shane Walsh and former Galway league star Johnny Ryan kept k/c in it with frees and one or two from play from Walsh.

Chances fell both ends second half and two outstanding saves firstly from claregalways keeper to deny Walsh and shortly after from the k/c keeper who was out smartly too save a certain goal from a quick claregalway attack.

Claregalway lorded midfield and found the going a bit easier that k/c score wise. K/c changed their game plan second half and it seemed to work well especially when they ran at claregalway. A few of the k/c lads don't sent turn up today and I'm sure that won't happen the next day.

Going for a k/c the next day, I think claregalway had their chance..willystown by 1 in xtra time in the inter.any word on reply date for this?

Both teams will feel they left it behind today but will be happy to have another bite at it again.

Claregalway will feel they need to tighten up on shane walsh as he treathened to run riot at times and will want to get more from sean moran who came into the game as championship top scorer but was well marchalled by warde.

Kc will need to get to more from thier other forwards murphy rabbitte and ryan were all quiet from play and they looked like a one man team going forward at stages. They will also need to nuliffy commins who had a fine game at midfield and his black card prob allowed k/c more possesion in final minutes to get back into game

Looking forward to the replay and has to be said game was played at a high standard and had a senior pace and physicality to it.

Shane walsh is a joy to watch had people on the edge of their seats,Danny Cummins scored some lovely points and finished the penalty well both players showed their class on the day,k/c showed they have another few gears in them and with forwards like rabbitte walsh and ryan are a real danger, hard working Enda Daly boyle and john miskell around the middle of the field could prove vital in the replay!!c/g will be happy to get another chance and will fancy there chances,c/g just

Ridiculous decision from the ref to blow it up. Dean Rock took far longer in the all ireland final and could you imagine the furore if the ref had pulled him for time wasting!! Furthermore, how can it be time wasting if the time was up and it was the last kick of the game, as seemed to be the case as the ref blew it up from the resultant throw in.

Time spent taking 45s was contentious in both games so! Flatley took an absolute age to kick his winning '45 for Williamstown with time gone. The one minute of added time had been announced by that stage but Kineen only played about 10 seconds extra, despite Flatley taking a lot longer than that. I've no issue with him taking his time on such an important kick, just think the ref should have factored that in and played more time.

It was some game though. Gary Kelly is a serious forward for Williamstown, I just think they rely too much on him to win the final. A few of their other forwards seem like smart footballers but I think two or three would need to add about three points each to give Williamstown a real shot.

I was at both games yesterday and was very very impressed by Gary Kelly and Shane Walsh. 2 close games that could have gone either way.

If CG cant nullify Shane Walsh they wont get away with it again.

Does anyone know when the replay is fixed for or when the final will be played?should be a cracking game, fair play to williamstown have a great chance to upset the odds

If referee pulled Shane Walsh for time wasting over the 45 why then did he not add the time on he deemed he had wasted ? Instead he throws up ball and blows up the game so he must not have wasted 5 seconds also he gave 3 yellow cards during game that were black without a doubt

Mulkerrins was very impressive for Aran yesterday. Was a bit unfortunate to give away the 45 that Williamstown got the winning score from. He could probably have let the ball go wide and the game would have finished a draw again. Kevin Walsh was at the game. Wonder would he call him up to the senior panel next year? Might be a year or two early for him though. He's tall but needs a fair bit of gym work to survive at senior intercounty level.

Williamstown will struggle to win the final. Everything goes through Kelly from what I saw Sunday albeit he is deadly accurate.

Similar enough - Clonberne would be a Junior team were it not for Shane Walsh as he thrilled the crowd in Tuam Stadium. We need to improve our all round game if we are going to beat CG in the replay.

Fingers crossed we do.

Jellybaby - you are not on my level...

Goodnight."
Gary Kelly is the only scoring threat for Baille Liam.

If we make it past Claregalway we will need to watch him closely in the final. Enda Daly could be the man for that job. Big, physical and will test Kellys ability to cover ground as he will break forward and attack from anywhere.
