The Professionalism debate is for another day Maybe I should have added I watch a large amount of Club County Finals, Provincial Club Championship and the Senior County National League games - hurling and football. Needless to say I love TG4! The reason I wont watch GAA over the next few months is very simple - I dont enjoy it enough to give it the time. The Championship only gets interesting when the top teams meet each other and thats generally towards the end. Ban (Westmeath) - Posts: 1415 - 28/04/2017 21:46:23 1983413 Link 2 |
I wont watch matches on TV I might go to the Westmeath Offaly game this year for the craic - but to be fair, with the winner meeting Dublin its a bit of a pointless exercise. I would understand if someone would think I'm hyper negative about this but I'm just pee'd off and demoralized to think the GAA cant support the players effort by providing them with a better "Main" competition. At the end of the day, the people with the power in the GAA to change things have probably worked hard for a large number of years to gain their position, and by making the right decisions now it would mean they are no longer required.
