The Professionalism debate is for another day

Maybe I should have added I watch a large amount of Club County Finals, Provincial Club Championship and the Senior County National League games - hurling and football. Needless to say I love TG4!

The reason I wont watch GAA over the next few months is very simple - I dont enjoy it enough to give it the time. The Championship only gets interesting when the top teams meet each other and thats generally towards the end.

I could understand not watching on TV (after all it is a relatively new thing that early round matches are shown live on TV. I think the Dublin v Meath saga in 1991 was an exception. (btw that was wonderful TV )."

I might go to the Westmeath Offaly game this year for the craic - but to be fair, with the winner meeting Dublin its a bit of a pointless exercise.

I would understand if someone would think I'm hyper negative about this but I'm just pee'd off and demoralized to think the GAA cant support the players effort by providing them with a better "Main" competition.

At the end of the day, the people with the power in the GAA to change things have probably worked hard for a large number of years to gain their position, and by making the right decisions now it would mean they are no longer required.

Get Trump in with his executive orders

See you in Autumn
