that's my point,it wont be that team come august, theyll be stronger then. for me its Brigids, Clan and Western Gaels (although no way would western gaels have won against boyle by that margin only for boyle missing so many). still only an opinion

Ian kilbride, both cathal mcHugh and Dominican will have 10 weeks training under the belt as don't look too fit at present, darragh donelly the same. Darren dolan didn't start don't know why and not sure about niall grehan. Experience will be key come the business end

Clann Bet them off the park the week before and should have beaten them by another 20 points.

Brigids have Ian Kilbride to come back(Best player in last years club championship). Conor Murray is to come back also.
They will have Darragh Donnelly and Cathal McHugh starting. Theres a few more i am certain

Was at ross gaels and boyle last night in a game which finished in near darkness. Fortunately the game was so one sided there was no flash points. Gaels were solid and boyle were awful. Even allowing for their missing players boyle appear to be heading back to the B section as they have bridgids first up after the break. Gaels have room for huge improvement which if they find could make them serious contenders but we all know how easily they blow up. No james McDermott or mark Healy last night. David O Gara went off injured and still won easily. Gaels could have bet St. Faithleachs last week by 15 points but fell asleep at start of 2nd half and let Faithleachs back into it.

Strokestown will have a tougher test this weekend than last week and I'm still not convinced by them. Should beat Kilmore but will have tougher tests ahead. Clann should account for Croans who shot themselves in foot last week v Elphin through missed goal chances and indiscipline. Anything other than a bridgids win v Faithleachs would be a shock. Brids were impressive v a poor pearses team last weekend. Faithleachs probably without the injured Brian Murtagh this week were very average last weekend and should have been hammered. Elphin surprised me last week beating Croans but got help from them should make it two wins from two but Elphin normally throw in one bad result somewhere along the line.

Pearses v western Gaels is probably senior game of weekend. If pearses lose they face Faithleachs in the third game with probably both teams on zero and it would make it a drop battle. W Gaels impressive but only now is the result put into context as to how bad Boyle are.
One concern is the quality of senior club football in the games have seen so far including last nights game is the standard is awful. I haven't seen one bit of intensity which is worrying for our inter county players and looking at some of them they are not standing out. Yes a few have hit the headlines but more to do with the opposition markers than their own skill. Game of the weekend could be oran v Feurty. Both teams going well. Tulsk v Glaveys could also be tasty. Tulsk need a win and were unlucky last week v Feurty.

Roscommon gaels had gud win against a poor Boyle team last ngt,Gaels were missing several players but the young players stood up and played well.4-28 in two games shows gaels can score,if gaels stay injury free and get all players fit who knows how far they will go.Boyle are definitely weakest team in group A!!

I would assume you are talking about the questionable referee decisions in Kiltoom? 4 Hugh decisions went against Faithleachs today costing them at least a draw.

Black card given against
Goal which was allowed even though ref told it was square ball
Linesman bring foul on Murtagh to ref attention and a black card not given
Last minute ref appeared to indicate a penalty and then blow final whistle

Faithleachs deserved at least a draw out of that game today. Brigids form this year has been indifferent but 2 championship wins under their belts now so they will hardly care about that.

Western Gaels the form team in league and championship however can they retain this form into August,September?

Strokestown with two big wins and scoring well but have probably played the two weakest sides in section B. Bad news for them and Roscommon is Tom Corcoran broke his collar bone.

Clann up and running with a goalfest against Croans. Bad news for them and Roscommon is Ultan Harney is doubtful to play anymore football this summer with a back injury.

Looks like between western gaels ros gaels and brigids for the automatic semi places and between clann strokestown and Elphin to come out of group 2..
