The game in May you're probably talking about ITOY, is in June. We do have a game in May against Sligo or NY, and it could be a cracker, who knows? But if we do get to Salthill, I'd be expecting Mayo to be undercooked like last year and Galway to be less focused than last year. Both sides will be looking to make it to August with rising form whether via the front door or the back one. The Rossies will likely be the ones hungriest for a Connacht title this year.

i don't think Galway fans give a toss about either to be honest! No one was celebrating the league title on Sunday where I am from. They were getting a bit excited about the performance and the prospects of championship success, i'll grant u that! But personally speaking I couldn't care less about the League other than as building for championship.

I, like most Galway posters, am a bit embarrassed by this thread! Mayonman (Galway) - Posts: 1829 - 25/04/2017 16:16:32 1982580 Link 1 |
Are you not aware that the Meath Men are shoe in for the double this year. Great performance by their hurlers so far this year. Brian_Coyote (Antrim) - Posts: 346 - 25/04/2017 16:43:44 1982591 Link 0 |
