Replying To mooncat:  "As a matter of interest Nowlan Park is the same length as Semple Stadium and just 2 meters narrower,I think what makes it look smaller is the stands are so close to the pitch which makes for a great atmosphere,I hope and I am sure we will see a great game on Sunday,if Wex play as they did against KK it will be a great match,I think though that Tipp have that little bit extra at the moment,I think Galway will win the other match but wouldnt be surprised if Limerick beat them,2 teams with the potential to give any team a run for their money,"
That 2 metres makes all the difference Mooncat ;)

Replying To Condorman:  "Pardon me but wouldn't it be just as good to have a Wexford/ Limerick final in Croker? Or Tipp/Galway for that matter?
We don't see enough top hurling games in the capital."
It's weird alright. All four football league finals are played in Croke park but no hurling finals.

Replying To therealtmo:  "Wouldn't it be super to have a Wexford Limerick final in Thurles, would be a massive crowd with a championship atmosphere.
Tipp have a good few injuries for Sunday rumour is Bubbles and Niall O Meara could be out with Donagh Maher is out and will miss Cork game."
Niall O'Meara IMO is very under rated the amount of work that young lad gets through is Bonner like. Speaking of Bonner I hear he could make an appearance Sunday.
Bubbles for me is still on a pedestal since September hasnt done much in the league to date.
One final chance for a few lads to up their game before the Championship.

Bubbles is a law unto himself but he a big game player too. He'll deliver when we need him to in the summer. Ryan is right to give him a kick up the ass though.

Here's hoping for two good games. Most will see Tipp v Galway final but I have a sneaking suspicion that Wexford will pull one over Tipp and you wouldn't be amazed if Limerick came through either.
Should be great weekend for all teams and Supporters.Best of luck to all and safe travelling.

You should be right enough with that forecast, especially if this referee has anything to do with it

Wexford still in it at halftime, despite some woeful shooting & 2 giveaway goals.

tipp v wexfore game far more lively than the Limerick v Galway game. Always lively with the likes of Fitz running on the pitch and starting rows with players and with a referee that is asleep when most of the off the ball action is taking place - far more interesting. In between the dirty pulls and wild swings there is a really half decent game trying to get out if only the ref would facilitate it.

The first goal was giveaway, the second was robbery. Jas Breen was clearly fouled before the second goal

Game well over now with four goals conceded no way back, Tipp's catching has been superb throughout awesome full forward line. Great run out for Wexford will do them well for championship.

Check the time mate, that comment was made at the time when the game was still in the melting pot.
At least we can look forward to Division1A hurling next year.

Tipp have a very strong team, the best half back line in the country and the best full forward line. They will take beating.
Will the GAA take action against Davey for his pitch invasion? In my opinion he deserves a ban.

Tipp are on par with Galway, nothing between them. What Davy did was madness but I expected better from the Tipp lads they should of knowing better than getting involved with him. Stay classy Davy.

Enjoyable game after dour first semi. Wexford excellent....serious hurlers with great attitude. Tipps goals were devastating and they will take some beating this year. Scary, looking at first round in Munster championship but still looking forward to having a go at them. Think it's good to play the best early. Regarding Davey, his antics should he not be chastised could be detrimental to Wexford hurling. It's one thing to be saying "shure its only Davey" but I believe he is an attention grabber. Great motivator but should use what's between his ears for the betterment of his players.

Nothing between them ? Ah come on Tipp are outrageously good and a good bit better than everyone else, their forward line is frightening, bubbles Callahan two McGrath's and Bonner to come back scary team not to mention Padraig Maher whose playing unbelievable hurling right now.

Galway beat Tipp in 15. We beat them by 1 point last year. It's only April and everyone building Tipp up.
