Replying To yelowbelly:  "Ah lads, this ref has lost the plot, a blatant footblock 3 metres from goal isn't a penalty ???"
How was it a foot block when
1. The Kerry player missed his kick completely.
2. It hit the Dublin player above his knee.

And fair play to Jim Gavin too, a very sporting gesture to go and congratulate every Kerry player individually

Hello from posh seats

Well done to Kerry

Better team won for me, kicked some cracking scores in 2nd half, Sheehan's and Maher top drawer scores, felt Dublin wasted a couple of very kickable chances late on and that was the difference in the end

But zero complaints for me.

Congrats to Kerry on a great win and ending the unbeaten run

Kerry now favs for Sam ;)

Nah, well done. Great win

Was it his foot though or his leg/thigh and is it only a penalty if blocked with his foot?

I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to remember the rule.

Fair play to Kerry. Some dubious decisions by the ref through the match.

It was quite funny watching some of the Kerry players and especially Fitzmaurice celebrating like they'd won the All-Ireland. It's only April lads, calm down.

I'm sure all Kerry folk are disgusted and outraged in the manner of the way they won that game. Surely the entire management will be personally castigated for the end of the game. Keepers of the game my ar$€. What was a very good game has been soured by their antics at the end.

Two Dub players guilty of striking but got away with yellows.

Hopefully some good will come of this game and people in the GAA will realise that the black card is worthless. The Anthony Maher black card at the end is exactly the reason it is worthless.

Cyncial fouling is done to stop a score if it is done far enough out the field it stops a score.A cynical foul is a cynical foul regardless of where it happens on the field and it should be punished with the concession of a score. If it happens outside the 45 it should be a free from the 21.If it happens inside the 45 it should be a penalty. All cynical fouling would end from that point on and we'd have a much better game.

Best referee I've seen in quite some time I thought he done a great job He let the game flow & only stepped in where he had to

Very exciting finish and some great scores. Two best teams by a distance. Kerry should have won by 3/4+ and Dublin did well to hang in though not playing well. Connolly is going to have to learn to walk away from incidents, he's too easy wound up and teams know that now.

Our final pass let's us down constantly but that's good lesson learning. I'm happy enough deep down and think this will stand to us big time, but like I said, well done Kerry the better team won today!
