How was it a foot block when 1. The Kerry player missed his kick completely. 2. It hit the Dublin player above his knee. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 09/04/2017 17:46:40 1977464 Link 1 |

Was it his foot though or his leg/thigh and is it only a penalty if blocked with his foot? I'm not trying to be smart, just trying to remember the rule. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 09/04/2017 17:48:04 1977468 Link 0 |
Congrats Kerry. Credit to both teams for a brilliant game. mon (Galway) - Posts: 675 - 09/04/2017 17:48:09 1977469 Link 0 |
Fair play to Kerry. Some dubious decisions by the ref through the match. bangbang (Dublin) - Posts: 113 - 09/04/2017 17:48:20 1977470 Link 2 |
Great game which was very well refereed. Well done to everyone concerned. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 09/04/2017 17:48:38 1977471 Link 2 |

I'm sure all Kerry folk are disgusted and outraged in the manner of the way they won that game. Surely the entire management will be personally castigated for the end of the game. Keepers of the game my ar$€. What was a very good game has been soured by their antics at the end. Bain (Donegal) - Posts: 470 - 09/04/2017 17:49:40 1977473 Link 3 |
Two Dub players guilty of striking but got away with yellows.

Hopefully some good will come of this game and people in the GAA will realise that the black card is worthless. The Anthony Maher black card at the end is exactly the reason it is worthless. uibhfhaili1986 (Offaly) - Posts: 1296 - 09/04/2017 17:49:46 1977475 Link 0 |
Best referee I've seen in quite some time I thought he done a great job He let the game flow & only stepped in where he had to

Very exciting finish and some great scores. Two best teams by a distance. Kerry should have won by 3/4+ and Dublin did well to hang in though not playing well. Connolly is going to have to learn to walk away from incidents, he's too easy wound up and teams know that now. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9706 - 09/04/2017 17:54:41 1977480 Link 0 |
Our final pass let's us down constantly but that's good lesson learning. I'm happy enough deep down and think this will stand to us big time, but like I said, well done Kerry the better team won today! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8596 - 09/04/2017 17:55:16 1977481 Link 0 |
