Replying To GreenandRed:  "What makes the Kerry card black and not red? Hit Connolly high and took him down when he was in on goal if he didn't."
Yeah its strange , prob not a red but far more dangerous than connelly's

Replying To Bain:  "Where's Walsh card. Oh that's right, only things like that apply to Connolly. No consistency in officiating and that's most people problem with this black card."
If walsh gets red there so does mccarthy. Ref could be letting the game flow more, few chances to play advantage but he keeps stopping the game unnecessarily

To me this referee isn't looking to be the star of the show He's letting the players play Taking action only where he has to

Reason consistenty. If the ref has to send both off then so be it. Up to the players to play within the rules. Walsh has about 5-6 personal fouls against him already and not a hint of a warning from the ref. See the way it's applied to mc Mahon, that's what I'd like to see across both teams instead of singling reputations out.

Dublin have been awful in the 2nd half so far. Ref is calling for some very soft fouls and harsh harsh yellows. But Kerry the better side by a mile so far.

How many bookable offences must Philly McMahon commit before he gets a yellow card ???

Not that unusual for this year , has happened in a few games , that and some lads waiting for things to happen rather than making them happen. Saying kerry playing well and controlling the tempo of the game

Bit of a game shaping up here now. Brutal bit of basketballing for long periods.

And people said Cluxton was only good for his kickouts. Very underrated shot stopper.

Ah lads, this ref has lost the plot, a blatant footblock 3 metres from goal isn't a penalty ???

The Kerry player never kicked the ball and it hit McMahon on the thigh Ref was correct IMO

It wasn't a foot block. I thought the same initially but the replay clearly sees that the defender cleanly wins the ball. Brave defending.

Certain penalty on Dean Rock. Shocking miss from the ref.

Why the Kerry player didn't punch it into the net I'll never know
