Galway captain Tracey Leonard put the ball in the Monaghan net after only 13 seconds of Sunday's Lidl National League game in Tuam.

The full-forward added a second goal as the home team ran out winners by 3-13 to 2-9 to claim their first victory in their first game of 2016.

Next up for Galway - a Valentine's Day date in Tuam with Connacht rivals Mayo who have won their first two games against Cork and Dublin.
