Carlow manager Turlough O'Brien has revealed that the response from the players he has contacted in regards to the 2015 squad has been positive.

There was much debate over the number of players that would not commit to the county senior football squad this year.

However, with a week to go before the county officially returns to training, O'Brien told the Carlow Nationalist that the signs are good.

"We are very pleased and have had a great response from players all over the county. It is the most important thing for Carlow that we have everybody in that we want. That is what we are working on," said O'Brien.

The Carlow manager has added Tommy Wogan (Eire Og), Darren Leonard (Rathvilly) and Damien McMahon (Palatine) as his selectors.
