Tyrone goalkeeper Niall Morgan is looking forward to the 2015 season - and hopes to spend it all in Ireland!

The Red Hands' premature exit from this year's championship afforded Morgan the opportunity to play football in San Francisco for much of the summer; he hopes the same opportunity doesn't present itself next year!

"I am already looking forward to next year and I hope that it can be a more successful one for the county supporters," the Edendork clubman says in The Irish News.

"I think everyone knows we are eager to get back to winning ways and start winning trophies again. It's up to this crop of players to do that now.

"The way things ended this year, it was gutting to say the least. I think Armagh were underestimated by most people in Tyrone and that should never have happened.

"That was a mistake that cost us. They deserved to beat us, though. They stuck to their game plan and they were ready for us.

"Going to America to play football was always something I wanted to do but part of me thought - or hoped - I would never get the chance because I always wanted to be playing with Tyrone throughout the summer.

"A lot of young players head off to the States so after the defeat to Armagh I felt that it was the best thing to do. From now on, hopefully Armagh will be going much further in the championship."
