In far from a once contests, the wining of this National Hurling League Division 3B for visitors Warwickshire was down to one man, full forward Liam Watson. His scoring was so influential that he scored 2 goals 10 points out of the final score of 2 goals 12 points. His was assisted in scoring by teammates Donncha Kennedy and Ian Dwyer. Within moments of the game's resumption Liam Watson added his and his side second major score from play. Shortly afterwards they visitors, largely through the efforts of their ace score and full forward registered a further 1 goal and six points to the final scores. For Fermanagh who never gave up trying to retrieve the game, with the possible hope of winning it. However, despite repeatedly penetrating they visitors defence, only for their scoring instincts to let them down, in front of goal. As the second half concluded Warwickshire became more assured, with their dominance of all sectors becoming very apparent. Fermanagh now scored a modest 3 points by Sean Corrigan (1 pt.), Connor McShea (1 pt.) and Francie McBrien (1 pt.). However, it was the more determined and skillful Warwickshire lead by their charismatic Liam Watson that won the match.
