Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath won't be taking Wexford for granted as the Ernemen bid to seal promotion.

A win in Wexford Park on Sunday will see the northerners make the step-up to the second division of the national football league. The Model County have failed to impress in the league so far and are in relegation danger but McGrath refuses to write them off:

"Anyone who underestimates any opposition at intercounty level is foolish," the Down legend notes in The Fermanagh Herald. "Our players have had it drummed into them since I arrived in Fermanagh that there's no such thing as an easy fixture at this level of football.

"We know exactly what's at stake on Sunday and we're not going to concern ourselves with Wexford's situation. We know what we need to get out of this game.

"Obviously, there's been a lot of talk about the possibility of promotion over this last number of weeks. The mathematics of the table would show there's a strong possibility, but it remains only a possibility at this stage."
