Niall Cassidy says being cast in the role of favourites for Sunday's Fermanagh SFC final is nothing new to Roslea.

The Shamrocks are strongly fancied to capture their fourth New York Gold Cup in five years at Teemore's expense, and Cassidy quipped in the Irish News: "To tell you the truth, we are favourites for any championship game that we play in Fermanagh, so we are well used to it at this stage.

"It might sound like a cliché, but we do actually just take one game at a time. We never take our eye off the ball in that regard and start looking forward to winning championships so we never really looked part Lisnaskea, who were played in the first round.

"I think when you start looking ahead of yourself is when you get beat."

The county player is delighted with the impact Mark Harte (son of Tyrone manager Mickey) and Adrian O'Donnell have had in what is their first season in charge of Roslea.

"I think they have been brilliant," he went on to say.

"They obviously have their own ideas and they have brought that with them, but they have also kept an awful lot the same because they saw that it was working. We have been very impressed with them all year."
