Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath
Fermanagh manager Pete McGrath admits he is having trouble strengthening his squad ahead of the Ulster championship.

Work commitments, injuries and indiscipline has cost McGrath the services of a number of key players and they were without many key players for their last league game against Offaly last Sunday.

McGrath revealed that he has been in contact with a number of players to see would they commit to the squad for the coming year, but he told the Fermanagh Herald that he has had no joy so far.

"We have tried to add to the squad. We have contacted a number of players but most are unavailable. I don't know who else is out there," admitted the former Down manager.

"Obviously the club leagues start next week and I will take in a few games but we have contacted four or five players. One has committed, one is waiting to make up his mind while the others have said that they do not feel fit enough and they want club football. So that is where we are with that."
