Jones focused on Antrim

Fermanagh's Ryan Jones
Fermanagh's Ryan Jones has stressed that they will not be underestimating Antrim when the sides clash in the Ulster SFC.

It is nine weeks before the sides meet, but Jones is adamant that they are already focused on the match against a side that finished near the bottom of Division Four.

Despite that Jones told the Fermanagh Herald that they would not be taking their opponents for granted as league form counts for nothing when the championship starts.

"It is a big spell without a game for the county and we just have to be hopeful that we don't pick up an injury in the club football, but Antrim are in the same situation as ourselves," said Jones.

"I know they didn't get out of division four but looking at their teams every week they are very strong and we can't underestimate Antrim on the first day of June.

"They are coming in under the radar having not gotten out of division four but we played them last year in division three and we got a draw and we thought they were a good team. If you look at their players, the McCanns, and CJ McGourty they are going to be big opposition."
