April is the toughest month for Fermanagh hurlers states team manager Seamus McCusker. "We had a good league campaign but the hard works starts now. You have plenty of dual players and you have to respect the fact they want to play both its toughest month of our preperations"

This time last year the Fermanagh hurlers took a break from preparation and had a disappointing championship campaign. "We failed to show up for the Lory Meagher last year, preparation was not ideal with far two many breaks in between. The team this year has shown fantastic commitment and we plan to ensure we give it our all this year states McCusker"

Fermanagh have not went through the league campaign unscathed unfortunately picking up a few injuries along the way.

"A few players picked up injuries over the last few weeks, hopefully the time in between competitions will allow for the players to recover" We also want to make sure we keep the players together as best as possible over this is vital to build on the momentum of the league" Tweet
