This Saturday august 27th, Dublin contest the TG4 All Ireland semi-final versus Connacht champions Mayo at 6.30pm in Kingspan Breffni Park. Admission is adults €10, students / senior citizens €5 and children U16 free. Dublin LGFA would urge all affiliated clubs and members to travel the short distance to Cavan to support the girls who are seeking to book their place in the All -Ireland final for a third year in a row. Play your part and be the 16th woman.

 

The first of our New Ireland Assurance Dublin club championship finals take place this week with three finals down for decision on Wednesday night. At 7.15pm in St Margaret's GAA club Parnells and Whitehall Colmcille will contest the Junior D final while out in Lawless Memorial Park we have a double bill with St Brendan's and St Monica's contesting the Junior G final at 7pm followed by the Junior F final between Garristown and Ballyboughal at 8.30pm. Dublin LGFA would like to wish all players and their respective management teams the very best of luck. Thanks to Fingallians and St Margaret's for hosting our finals once again.

 

Our Juvenile Autumn schedule of fixtures gets underway this coming weekend a reminder to all clubs to ensure that all their underage players are registered along with at least two team mentors. Dublin LGFA will be carrying out spot checks on team sheets in the coming weeks.

 

Reminder to that clubs should also check the availability of their appointed match official at least three days in advance of their fixture. If your appointed official is not available please contact Michelle Keating 0874470829 (U11 to U13) and Antoin Keating 0874470830 (U14 to minor) to appoint a replacement. Under no circumstances should clubs appoint their own match officials.
