Is John Allen the new Dublin hurling manager?

John Allen has tonight been revealed as Dublin's new hurling manager - by Liam Rushe!
The All Star centre back tweeted a picture of himself with the former Cork and Limerick manager accompanied by the words: "Delighted to announce our new bainisteoir!"
Rushe works with Allen as pundits on the TG4 show Seo Spoirt.
The picture appears to have been taken in Croke Park after this evening's All-Ireland hurling final replay. Allen led his native Cork to their last All-Ireland title in 2005 before guiding Limerick to Munster honours last year.
The Dublin county board has yet to officially announce the identity of Anthony Daly's successor.
