Bumper viewing figures for Dublin-Kerry clash

Over half a million people watched the closing stages of last Saturday night's gripping Allianz Football League opener between Dublin and Kerry on RTÉ.

A whopping 507,400 people were tuned in when David Clifford's late free earned the Kingdom a share of the spoils at Croke Park. The average audience was 392,000.

RTÉ and eir sport both showed the game live and will once again simulcast this Saturday evening when Cork and Tipperary face off in Division 1 of the Allianz Hurling League at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with the national broadcaster's coverage beginning at 6.30pm.

eir sport will also be showing the Allianz Football League Division 1 game between Mayo and Dublin in Elvery's MacHale Park this Saturday evening.
