See the video www.facebook.com/AnRiochtCLG Buy Your Squares at the Club or on line from our facebook page through Klubfunder.

The Senior Camogs played hard against Clonduff in the Championship but found the first touch and physical presence of the Senior champions too much. An Riocht led five two after the fifteen minutes and were still very much in it at 1-5 to 2-9 at half time. The players now know what awaits them after their promotion and 2018 should hold no fears if we want it bad enough. The Seniors should enjoy Kilmacud and then plan to restore An Riocht to its position as an established Senior Camogie club.

The Junior Camogs disappointed in the Championship but can look back on a league success and promotion. We were still in it at the break, eight points in arrears but failed to harness the strong breeze in the second half. It's a young group with time and ability to improve.

The U12 Camogs lost in Clonduff in the league on Saturday.

At the Patsy Conkey & Sharon Morgan Camogie tournaments on Sunday, Clonduff won the U12 Shield, Castledawson won the U12 Cup, An Port Mor won the U16 Shield and Newbridge won the U16 Cup. Thanks to all the teams for their co-operation on the day, 137 games were played by 39 teams without a hitch, and to our volunteers who manned the car parks, kept the road clear, staffed the kitchen, took photographs, refereed and gathered scores and co-ordinated the games, not forgetting everyone who helped with the tidy-up.

The Senior Footballers were rather depleted and lost to Bryansford in the second round of the championship but tried hard to the finish.

The U14 Footballers lost to Bosco 4-9 to 1-19.

The P5/P6 Footballers played two games with Burren at Dunavil on Saturday morning.

Highlight of last week's Summer Scheme was the trip to Tayto Park and the Kite Making day.

Sam Hamilton, proprietor of the Kilmorey Arms attended the Men's Shed and assisted by William prepared a seafood lunch for the Men's Shed.

An Riocht have been invited to take part in Feile Peile na nOg (boys u14 football) from Friday 15th June to Sunday 17th June 2018. There will be 160 teams representing every county in Ireland, England, Scotland, mainland Europe, America and Australia. However, for us to take part we must agree to host a visiting team accommodating 24 u14 players and 4 team mentors in family homes over the weekend of 15th to 17th June. Anyone willing to help out or wanting to know more please contact the club asap, preferably families of footballers playing u14 in 2018 but all offers welcome.

Keep Saturday 9th September free for an Irish Language workshop from 10am to 4pm, lunch included; no more excuses it couldn't be handier, it's at Dunavil!
