Glasdrumman GAC Club Notes

There will be a meeting in the club rooms on Thursday 20th October at 6.30pm in order to arrange a date for youth club to start and to get a few ideas for projects/trips etc for the kids.
We would encourage all parents to come along and give their input as to what they would like to see happen in youth club this year.
We would particularly welcome Young Volunteers to come along and get involved in youth club.
Please note, this is an open meeting and everyone will be welcome!

Both the Eire Og U-13 and U-11 games were postponed at the weekend. 
Training continues for the Eire Og 
U-11s on a Tuesday evening at the Quarter Road pitch from 6pm until 7pm. There is no U-11 game this Sunday.
The Eire Og U-13s host Annaclone on Tuesday 18th October in Ballymartin with a 7.15pm throw in.  Their next game will be in Glasdrumman on Saturday at 4.15pm against Burren.

 

The AOH Hall in Glasdrumman is the place to be this Saturday. Scór na Óg takes place at 4.00 pm.  Our Club will be represented  on stage in three categories; Instrumental music, Solo Singing and Ballad Group .  Our Club Chairman Gary McGreevy and all the committee members wish our competitors: 

Aoife Grant, Aoife Leckey, Cara Sloan , Ciara Rooney , Clodagh Morgan, Dana Leckey, Niamh McDowell , Peter Doran and Tara Grant. all good luck in the competitions. We thank them all for the hard work, dedication and enthusiasm they've shown in all the practices. We appreciate the cooperation of all their parents and , on a personal note, thank Donna Feeney and Joanne Grant for  their ongoing commitment in preparing the talented young people for the competition. The Club will also be providing the Fear and Ti for the occasion: Tony Bannon. We look forward to seeing as many people from the Club in the  hall  to support our  talented young people.  

 

Then at 9.00 pm in the hall  there will be a fundraising  table  quiz for Knockevin  Special School. Admission £5 per person. Question master ; Tony Bannon . we thank the committe and menbers of the AOH , Glasdrumman for their  welcome assistance with the organisation  of  both these events.

 on the loss of Peter, a former player for our club brother of our esteemed member Joe and uncle to  former player Vincie. Ar Dhéis Dia go raibh a anam uasail dhilis
