Kilcoo booked their place into another Down senior football championship final last night at Pairc Esler at the expense of 11-man Mayobridge.
A 2-3 tally from Jerome Johnston proved salient for the winners' 2-9 to 1-7 victory as Mayobridge lost their discipline in the last 10 minutes, with former Down star Benny Coulter the first to go beforehand on a second yellow card.
By that stage the 'Bridge looked to be in contention after firing in a goal via Caolan Gallagher but the Magpies responded in kind with Johnston netting his second just after the dismissals of Coulter and Conor Garvey.
In injury-time a melee broke out between the two sides and when the dust settled Warrenpoint referee Brendan Rice would issue straight red cards to Mayobridge's Shane McNamee and Conor Quinn, along with a Kilcoo substitute.
Kilcoo now face the winners of Ballyholland Harps and Castlewellan, who play tomorrow evening in Newry (throw in 7.00pm), in a bid to retain their title.
