11am Men's Shed; Schools Football @ Dunavil St Columbans v St Josephs; 6pm Ladies Keep-fit; 7.30pm Kingdom YC Annual General Meeting to appoint a Board whose duty will be to safeguard the interests of the members by ensuring that governance, premises, finances and leadership are fit for purpose. It is not Board members' role to supervise activities on a nightly basis (though they may if they so wish).
Thursday 24 September
6pm Irish Dancing; 7pm Strictly Group Dance; 8pm Basketball.
Friday 25 September
6.30pm P5/P5 Gaelic Practice
Saturday 26 September
P3/P4 Gaelic Blitz @ Moy (2 teams); 11am P1/P2 Gaelic Practice; 12pm 3 South Down U14 Finals at Dunavil; 4pm U12 Camogs play at half time in Senior Championship Final at Pairc Esler.
Sunday 27 September
U12 Football Tournament in Rostrevor; 8pm Bingo.
Monday 28 September
11am Men's Shed;
Tuesday 29 September
10am Ladies Keep-fit; 6pm Irish Dancing; 7.15pm SD U11 Football home v Ballyholland

There was a smallish attendance at the meeting to form a new Kingdom Youth Club Senior Members group but with the assistance of Education Authority workers Paul and Maureen quite a lot was achieved. The Senior Members meet on Wednesdays and if you missed the first night still feel free to come along now or contact any of the youth club leaders.

The An Riocht U14/U16/U18 Camogie & Football Presentations @ Dunavil scheduled for Friday are postponed for a fortnight to Friday 9th October.

KYC members attended the inaugural Newry & Mourne Youth Council meeting on Tuesday and the information night for the LOHAH project on Thursday.

Thanks to everyone who volunteered or participated at the Patsy Conkey U12 and Sharon Morgan U16 Camogie tournaments at Dunavil and apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the huge traffic surge at the start.
Forty one teams consisting five hundred underage players, ninety team mentors and lots of supporters crowded into Dunavil for a great days Camogie and at the end of 150 matches Ballygalget won the Sharon Morgan Cup beating Randalstown 'A' in the Final; An Riocht won the Sharon Morgan Shield beating Killeavy in the Final; Bellaghy won the Patsy Conkey Cup beating Liatroim in the Final; Longstone won the Patsy Conkey Shield beating Meabh O'Neills in the Final; Atticall won the Patsy Conkey Plate beating Mullaghbawn in the Final.

An Riocht U12 footballers visited Mayobridge on Sunday morning in their final league match and put in a good performance losing by five, 2-6 to 2-11.

Dunavil hosted Schools St Louis v St Pauls and Divisional Board Eire Og v Burren 'B' fixtures last week.

The Community Pharmacy Partnership programme got off to a great start last week with twenty men and women attending. The next session is on Wednesday 30th September from 7.30pm for an hour, feel free to come along as each session stands alone.

Scor Na nOg will take place over the weekend of Friday 16th to Sunday 18th October, U16 participants needed for music, song or recitation.

Christmas orders for O'Neills gear must be in for 7th October, order forms available from Dunavil.

Well done to the senior footballers and team officials who have reached the Trocaire Intermediate Football Championship Final on Sunday 4th October. Anyone willing to help with preparations for the Final on 4th October should contact any committee member asap.
