The U8, U10 & U12 Camogie Fun and Games and Barbecue brought the summer season to a close on Wednesday past. In a few weeks, following coach training, an autumn 8 week programme to improve camogie skills will begin in the hall.

The last Car Boot Sale took place on Thursday, thanks to everyone who supported them over the summer.

In the U14 Football v Annaclone played in a monsoon, An Riocht lost 3-6 to 5-8.

At the U16 Camogie in Clonduff, An Riocht put in a good shift losing 4-3 to 8-4, a score line which flattered the hosts who made that little bit more of their chances. However this was a good solid performance from our girls to end the season with some outstanding passages of play creating some brilliant scores and great tackles.
Team: Caoimhe Donnan, Andrea O'Neill, Caoimhe Leigh Spiers, Kayleigh Ferguson, Caoimhe McAlinden, Cerys Clarke, Orlaith O'Rourke, Tiarna Donnan, Eve Doran, Aoife McDowell, Sophie McDowell, Ciarrai Connor, Molly Ireland, Kirsti Cunningham, Clare Fearon.

In the U16 Football Championship An Riocht had St Patricks as visitors and ran out winners on a 4-20 to 6-2 score line to reach the semi-final. Team: JJ Eakins, P Curran, WJ Harper, C Flanagan, E Sloan 0-2, Cormac Clarke 0-1, Conor Clarke 2-4, R Campbell 1-10, C Campbell, P McComiskey 1-3, R Mackey, J Cunningham, J Rodgers.

The Senior Football match home v Bosco did not take place as the Newry side did not travel.

The U12 Footballers played Mayobridge at Dunavil on Sunday and did really well for the first half but ran out of steam after the break.

The Reserve Footballers Championship run came to a halt on Sunday when Liatroim bested them 4-13 to 0-15. A disastrous start saw An Riocht concede three goals in the opening ten minutes. Collie McCrickard was on top at midfield and Ryan Doyle and Pearse Og McCrickard were razor sharp forwards as the Fontenoys led 3-8 to 0-5 at the break with Andrew Harper (2), Michael O'Rourke (2) and Darragh Campbell replying with points for An Riocht.
A cleverer kick-out strategy on the restart bypassed centre field and An Riocht ate into the deficit with a succession of points but could not get in for the goal they needed and the visitors plundered a late fourth goal to cap their win.
Best in a poor performance were Michael Harper, Darragh Campbell, Michael O'Rourke and both subs Stephen McDowell and Shane Cunningham made good impacts when introduced.
An Riocht: B Allen, M Rooney, S Corr, M Harper, S McArdle 0-1, B Rodgers, L Rodgers 0-1, B Sloan, D Matthews, A Harper 0-2, M O'Rourke 0-5 (3f), D Campbell 0-2, N McComiskey, JL Cordell 0-3 (2f), S Flanagan. Subs S McDowell 0-1, S Cunningham.
Liatroim: R McAleenan, C Doyle, D O'Prey, A O'Hare, S O'Rourke, J Malone, R Madine, C McCrickard 0-1, C McAleenan, P Brennan 0-1, E Ward 2-1, R Doyle 0-4 (2f), P Og McCrickard 2-6, L Middleton, E Ward.
