An Riocht U18 Camogie Championship Final is against Ballygalget on Sunday 6th September

Ballycran failed to travel in the U16 Camogie and Bredagh failed to travel in the Senior Camogie.

Highlight of the Summer Scheme was the visit by Phil's Farm and the trip to Lagan Valley Waterplex.

The Youth Intervention Overnight Teen Residential at Carlingford Adventure Centre was a big success.

At the Senior Football in Atticall, An Riocht had the result secured as early as the fifteenth minute by which time we led 2-4 to nil. After Conor Cole had opened the scoring, Sean Clarke ghosted in for two goals in as many minutes and with Martin Clarke chipping in with three points, the match was already beyond the home side.
The more the hosts pressed, the bigger the gaps they left behind them and we picked off points at will to keep the scoreboard ticking over going in 2-7 to 0-4 at the break.
There was no let up for Atticall on the restart with An Riocht kicking the first five points of the half. A couple of scores in reply only triggered a burst of goals from An Riocht with Deaglan Morgan and Brian Rodgers adding one apiece and Sean Clarke completing his hat trick before Martin Clarke finished off the scoring with his sixth score of the night. Team: Brendan McVeigh, John O'Rourke, Deaglan O'Reilly, Michael Clarke, Conor Doyle 0-1, Paul Allen, Liam McVeigh, Rory Cunningham 0-1, Kory Colgan, Declan Doyle 0-1, Deaglan Morgan 1-1, Conor Cole 0-2, Noel McArdle 0-1, Sean Clarke 3-0, Martin Clarke 0-6 (4f). Subs: Michael O'Rourke, Patrick Gartland, Brian Rodgers 1-0. An Riocht Subway Player of the Match Sean Clarke.

At the U12 Football at home v Clonduff, An Riocht lost 4-4 to 4-19.

In the U16 Football at Mitchels, An Riocht won by 1-16 to 3-6.

In the Minor Football Championship An Riocht lost to Shamrocks at Pairc Esler by 0-5 to 2-18. For the first quarter hour we more than held our own and trailed by a point 0-1 to 0-2 but once Conor Clarke went off injured we struggled to get out of our own half and were worn down by constant Shamrocks pressure. Thomas Sloan was excellent in goals and his ability to pick men out with quick kick outs was a huge help. Shamrocks struck for goals either side of the break and the second half became a procession of Newry scores despite the best efforts of our players. Team: Thomas Sloan, Michael Harper, Shane Cunningham, Aaron Eastwood, Conor Clarke 0-1, Liam Rodgers, Darragh Campbell, Dane Matthews, Deaglan Morgan 0-1, Paul Kearney, Ronan Cambell 0-2 (2f), Marc Rooney, Daniel Hardy, Jack Rafferty, Patrick McComiskey. Sub: Aidan Sloan 0-1. An Riocht Subway Player of the Match Thomas Sloan.

In the Intermediate Camogie Championship semi-final v Ballela in Ballyholland, An Riocht were well beaten. An Riocht trailed 1-6 to nil at half time and went further behind on the restart before eventually finding some form and scoring 2-5 in the final twenty minutes but lost on a 3-9 to 2-5 score. Team: Joanna Sloan, Clara Killen, Louise Rodgers, Nicole Cunningham, Aine O'Reilly, Marie Trainor, Nicole Kelly, Noelle Fearon, Aine Fearon 1-3, Colleen Fearon 0-1, Claire Connor, Maria Higgins 0-1, Sarah Rodgers, Emma Jane Magee 1-0, Tierna Rooney. Subs Tiarna Donnan, Orla McAlinden, Shaunice Harper, Patrice Matthews, Niamh McDowell, Niamh McBurney. An Riocht Subway Player of the Match Nicole Cunningham.

At the Reserve Football Championship at Dunavil v Longstone, An Riocht recorded a good win 1-15 to 1-2 to reach the quarter finals. After Michael O'Rourke had opened the scoring, Stephen Doran landed two huge frees to give us a great start and though the visitors replied with a free this proved to be their only score of the half. The An Riocht defence dominated the Longstone attack and we were getting more than a fair pull at centre field so the forwards thrived on a regular supply of ball and pointed at will before approaching half time Jerry Lee Cordell punched a goal and we went in leading 1-9 to 0-1. Two Michael O'Rourke points on the restart ensured there would be no Longstone comeback and as we emptied our bench Dane Matthews shone at midfield for the final twenty minutes. Team: Stephen Doran 0-2 (2f), Michael Harper, Stephen Corr, Marc Rooney, Sean McArdle, Paul Sherry, Liam Rodgers, Brian Sloan 0-1, Brian Rodgers 0-1, Ryan Spiers 0-1, Michael O'Rourke 0-6 (2f), Darragh Campbell, Andrew Harper 0-1, Jerry Lee Cordell 1-1 (1f), Joe McCartan. Subs: Declan Clarke, Shane Sloan, Nathan McComiskey, Dane Matthews 0-1, Jack Rafferty, Stephen Flanagan 0-1, Brendan Allen. Subway Player of the Match Brian Sloan.
